Pick up the Notice Contract: Grandmaster Armorer on the Notice Board at Beauclair in Toussaint. You can also get this quest if you find any of the Grandmaster diagrams from exploration or if you go to Lafargue's shop directly and ask him about the Grandmaster gear.
You cannot miss or fail this quest even if you finish all the main quests of the game.

| 3 | Bring back the grandmaster diagrams you found to him. |
After speaking to Lafargue about the location of the Grandmaster diagrams, you will get 5 Scavenger Hunt quests for each set of the Grandmaster armor in each witcher school. You only need to complete 1 of these Scavenger Hunts to complete the quest.
