In order to get this quest, you must first complete the Secondary Quest: Enchanting: Start-up Costs. Once you complete the said quest, you will automatically start this quest.

| 1 | Find and loot a Pickaxe nearby using your Witcher Senses. |
| 2 | Go to the quest location and loot the Jade from the ground. |
| 3 | Bring the hunk of Jade to the Runewright. |
This quest ends after bringing the hunk of Jade to the Runewright, but you still need to pay the Runewright an additional 10000 Crowns to have him craft Advanced Runewords and Glyphwords, and an additional 15000 Crowns to have him craft Master level Runewords and Glyphwords.
EnlargeNot all quest locations on the map will give you a hunk of jade. We recommend going straight to the quest location in the middle of the three shown on the map and enter the cave to get the hunk of jade.
