How to Get
In order to get this quest, you must first complete the Secondary Quest: Enchanting: Start-up Costs. Once you complete the said quest, you will automatically start this quest.
Main Objectives

| 1 | Find and loot a Pickaxe nearby using your Witcher Senses. |
| 2 | Go to the quest location and loot the Jade from the ground. |
| 3 | Bring the hunk of Jade to the Runewright. |
How to Unlock Advanced and Master Runewords and Glyphwords
This quest ends after bringing the hunk of Jade to the Runewright, but you still need to pay the Runewright an additional 10000 Crowns to have him craft Advanced Runewords and Glyphwords, and an additional 15000 Crowns to have him craft Master level Runewords and Glyphwords.

Hunk of Jade Location
Not all quest locations on the map will give you a hunk of jade. We recommend going straight to the quest location in the middle of the three shown on the map and enter the cave to get the hunk of jade.
Making Money

Combat Strategies
Arachnomorph
- Coat your Silver Sword in Insectoid Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
- Cast the Aard Sign to stagger multiple enemies and give yourself an opening to attack.
- You can cast the Axii Sign to turn them to your side and help you deal with multiple enemies or to stun them for a long time and give yourself a big opening to attack them.
