Choices that Affect the Ending and Best Choices
Choices
Objective 2 Choice: Comforting Ciri
NOTE: THIS IS ONE OF THE FIVE MAJOR CHOICES THAT WILL DETERMINE THE ENDING.
Choice 1: Relax. You don't have to be good at everything.
Picking this choice make you drink alcohol with Ciri and decrease a point to a hidden scale that will determine the game's Epilogue.
Choice 2: Think I know what might lift your spirits.
Picking this will boost Ciri's confidence and will add a point to a hidden scale that will determine the game's Epilogue.
Objective 3 Choice: Visiting the Emperor
NOTE: VISITING EMHYR AT VIZIMA CAN AFFECT THE ENDING.
You are given a choice to visit Emhyr and present Ciri to him or travel straight to Velen.
Optional Objective Choice: Presenting Ciri
NOTE: THIS IS ONE OF THE FIVE MAJOR CHOICES THAT WILL DETERMINE THE ENDING.
This choice is only available if you chose to visit Vizima before traveling to Velen.
Choice 1: Thanks. Definitely need it more than you do.
Picking this choice will grant an additional reward of 2000 Crowns and will decrease a point to a hidden scale that will determine the game's Epilogue.
Choice 2: Didn't do this for the coin.
Picking this choice will grant a new mount that is no different than Roach except for the color. This choice will also increase a point to a hidden scale that will determine the game's Epilogue.
Best Choices
Have a Snowball Fight
Choose the option [I think i know what might lift your spirits] to start a snowball fight with Ciri. This will help to get one of the good endings.
Present Ciri and Do not Take the Coin
Go and bring Ciri to Emhyr. Then do not take the reward for another point towards the good ending. Bringing Ciri to the emperor will also enable the Ciri empress ending.

When fighting against Ciri in a snowball fight, you shoud keep chasing her until she kneels down to get snowballs. When this happens, it the the perfect time to start throwing snowballs at her.
