Elephant Fruit	・Can break bricks thanks to the Elephant trunk. ・Can store water using your trunk which means you can use it to spray water on dried plants which can give you coins and might help you with puzzles. ・ Increased strength when pushing movable blocks or objects.
Bubble Flower	・Instantly kills most enemies using bubbles by absorbing them. ・ Can use the bubbles as platforms which is ideal if there is a gap from one place to the other. ・ Bubbles go through walls which can eliminate unreachable enemies.
Drill Mushroom	・Drill helmet protects you from enemies landing on top of the character's head which will kill them. ・Burrow into the ground which makes you invulnerable from attacks and lets you access hidden areas. ・ Burrow even into the ceiling.
Super Star	・Makes you invincible and kills enemies when you charge on them. ・ Biggest weakness of this is that it is only temporary and will run out after some time.
Fire Flower	・Throw fireballs towards your enemies ・Fireballs even bounce off of walls.
Super Mushroom	・Makes the character larger, allowing him to reach high placed blocks.

The Elephant power-up or the Elephant Fruit and the Bubble Flower are two of the best power-ups in the game.

Their abilities are incredibly useful for fighting enemies and a must have in your Item Balloon when you're exploring a difficult course.

Elephant Fruit	・The first time the characters transform into an Elephant in the series. The Elephant Fruit is arguably the cutest and funniest looking.
Drill Mushroom	・The drill helmet surprisingly fits the characters plus adding the color black on their outfits combined with their regular color is aesthetically pleasing.
Fire Flower	・The classic power-up, the Fire Flower, still makes the characters look epic alongside giving you fire powers!
Bubble Flower	・Adding the color purple on the characters' outfits is a nice touch but sometimes it does not mesh well with their regular color schemes.
Super Star	・The most interesting part of this power-up's looks is that it can make you flash rainbow colors. Unfortunately, this look isn't permanent as the power-up will automatically run out after seconds.
Super Mushroom	・The most plain looking power-up out of everything. It just makes your character bigger.

Without a doubt, the Elephant power-up is the most interesting looking power-up in the game. The Elephant Flower transforms you into a big, plump Elephant. Not only that, the characters will also scream Wowie Zowie! in a really cute or funny voice which adds to the charm of this power-up.

How to Use Power-Ups

Get Power-Ups from ? Blocks

You can get a power-up from hitting a ? block within courses. Of course, the available power-ups vary per courses but fortunately you can keep a power-up within your Item Balloon.

You can store another power-up in your Item Balloon by acquiring that power-up item while you're currently in a power-up state.

Just hold the A button to swap power-ups or do the same if you do not have a power-up active but you have one in your item balloon!

The Elephant Fruit, Bubble Flower and the Drill Mushroom are some of the new power-ups the characters can have in Super Mario Bros Wonder. These power-ups spice up the combat as well as exploration within levels.

Some of these can transform you into an elephant, gives you a drill for a helmet or even give you bubble powers that can absorb enemies!

Another power-up that we didn't list in our tier list is the Wonder Flower which changes the layout of the course or can even transform you into monsters like a Goomba. The effect that this flower gives varies per course.
