Toadette Abilities

Has the Same Abilities as Other Characters

Unlike previous games, Toadette has the same abilities as other characters.

The only difference playing as Toadette is her appearance and voice, and how she looks like when transformed by power-ups such as the Elephant Fruit or by Wonder Effects.

Can Use Power-Ups

Toadette can use power-ups that you can find around the stage, such as Fire Flowers and the Elephant Fruit! This grants Toadette new abilities and attacks, and even a new appearance!

How to Play as Toadette

Great for Any Course

Since Toadette has the same abilities as the other characters except the Yoshis and Nabbit, they are a great choice for almost any course in the game.

We recommend using Toadette on courses that has a lot of power-ups or requires a specific power-up to access new areas and get all the collectibles.
