How to Win and Tips for Spelunking!

1. Start Off by Jumping on the Mushroom to Reach the Upper Route

When you start, jump on the mushroom trampoline then proceed along the upper route. This is to avoid the enemy called "Thorn Bug" on the lower route. By proceeding with the upper route, you do not have to worry about taking damage from the enemy.

2. Defeat the Thorn Bug with a Small Jump

Soon after the starting point, you will reach an area where a red thorn bug breaks the colorful blocks.

After it breaks the first few blocks, jump on the conveniently left over blocks as a platform then do a small jump to defeat the Red Thorn Bug. Refrain from doing an extended jump as you can take damage from its spikes.

3. Enter the Trampoline Mushroom Zone while Dashing

To effectively pass the Trampoline Mushroom zone, enter by dashing without jumping. After doing so, bounce on the trampoline without jumping once, then jump on the second bounce to do a big jump.

Doing so will let Mario take the coins while avoiding the spiky bugs.

4. Take the Shortcut on the Slope

After the note block bridge, there is a hopping section. Ignore the first part without jumping then continue dashing towards the second section. Proceed to the lower route to get past the second part.

You can take a shortcut by using the steps in the middle of the slope. You will not be able to reach the shortcut unless you make a big jump while sprinting. To reach the shortcut, try to position yourself in a spot where you can make a small dash before jumping.

5. Dash out From the Slope

For the first and second part, you can get through the area just by dashing off the slope. The third fall requires a small jump from the slope so that you will not fall on the poisonous swamp. It is just enough to reach land.
