100% Completion Tips and Tricks |

Yoshi | Nabbit |
We recommend using Yoshi (any color Yoshi is OK!) or Nabbit to clear each course in the game efficiently. These characters are immune to damage from enemy attacks and will make clearing difficult courses and Wonder Sequence easier.
The Yoshis, in particular, are great for reaching the top of the goal since they jump higher with their flutter jump and can even jump higher by equipping the Floating High Jump Badge!
Best Badge | Explanation |
---|---|
Boosting Spin Jump | Allows you to jump higher, helping you overcome obstacles and reach the top of Goal Poles. |
Sensor | Makes it easier to find Wonder Seeds and Purple 10 Coins in courses. |
Safety Bounce | Saves you from falling off the stage, in lava, or poison swamps once per course. |
Add ! Blocks | Adds an additional ! Block that can function as an extra platform or provide power-ups! |
We highly recommend the above four badges to make it easier to meet all 100% Completion Objectives in the game, and can make traversing each course and defeating enemies easier!
The Safety Bounce Badge, in particular, is helpful even when using characters like Yoshi and Nabbit since you still lose lives if you fall off the course.
To make it easier to collect all 144 Standees, we recommend trying to get all of the Flower Coins in each stage. You will need to spend 10 or 30 Flower Coins to unlock each Standee, so it's best to get a head start before you start spending on Standee Surprises!
The maximum amount of Flower Coins you can obtain is 999 so make sure to visit a Poplin Shop and purchase a Standee Surprise to avoid wasting the coins you collect!
There's a Poplin Shop in the Special World where you can purchase character-specific standee surprises for 30 Flower Coins.
Unlike the standee surprises that cost 10 Flower Coins, you can choose a specific character to pull from the lottery and will always reward a standee that you don't have yet.
We recommend saving up Flower Coins and purchasing these standees once you start getting duplicates from the random standee surprise lottery.
How to Access the Special World
If you have a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription, we recommend playing with friends when completing courses.
When playing co-op, the course doesn't end if you fall into a hole or get defeated by an enemy. Instead, you'll transform into a Ghost that your friend can revive within a certain time limit!
How to Play Online Co-Op with Friends
You'll get a green checkmark by completing everything the game has to offer. This means that you need to get all Wonder Seeds on every level, get every purple 10 coin, jump to the very top of the flagpoles, get all medals and find every secret exit!
