Super Mario Wonder - Light Blue YoshiLight Blue Yoshi Whichever color Yoshi you choose, they can all eat enemies, spit out stuff (enemies, shells, and other items), flutter jump, and help carry other players—even ones in Elephant form!

Light Blue Yoshi Abilities

Can Eat Enemies and Objects

Light Blue Yoshi can eat enemies by pressing the Y. You can also swallow items like other objects and spit them back out by pressing Y again.

Can Flutter Jump to Reach Higher Places

Light Blue Yoshi can also Flutter Jump by holding down the B button to reach higher places!

Yoshi Can't Use Power-Ups

Light Blue Yoshi can't use Power-Ups that transform them and grant new abilities such as the Elephant Fruit, but you can spit them out as a projectile when eaten!

However, other players can hop on and take a ride on Light Blue Yoshi during multiplayer!

How to Play Online Multiplayer with Friends

Knocked Back when Hit by an Enemy

Light Blue Yoshi is immune to damage and will only get knocked back harmlessly when hit by enemies or stage hazards.

Keep in mind that you can still get knocked back towards a hole or ledge, and falling off the course will decrease Light Blue Yoshi's life!

How to Play as Light Blue Yoshi

Great for Beginners

Light Blue Yoshi is a great choice for almost any course in the game thanks to their invulnerability to damage.

Since Light Blue Yoshi can't use power-ups, we don't recommend using them on courses that may require using a power-up to access hidden areas or progress the stage.
