You can get Standees by purchasing them at the shop. However, you won't be able to pick specific Standees as you can only get them by random.
You can find a Poplin Shop in the Special World where you can purchase character-specific standee surprises for 30 Flower Coins.
Unlike the cheaper standee surprises, you can choose a specific character to pull from the lottery and will always reward a standee that you don't have yet.
We recommend saving up Flower Coins and purchasing these standees once you start getting duplicates from the random standee surprise lottery.
How to Access the Special World
Standees are collectibles for Super Mario Wonder that depict characters in a specific pose, sometimes jumping or using a power-up.
These items don't have special effects and instead function as revive spots for online play.
Place standees by pressing the left analog stick down (L-Stick ↓) and then press the X button. You can also change the look of your recently placed standees as long as you have unlocked the other designs!
Standees come in 3 rarities and indicated by the color of their frame.
Regular Standees have a black frame and depict characters performing basic actions such as jumping and swimming.
Silver Standees have a silver frame and depict regular characters like Mario and Luigi using power-ups, while portraying characters like Yoshi and Nabbit using their special character-specific actions.
Finally, Gold Standees have a gold frame and depict characters using Wonder Effects such as when they're transformed into a Goomba or a Balloon.
