How to Host Friend Races

Hit a Race Block on Certain Courses

Join your friends on a course with a Race Block and hit it to host a Friend Race. The timer will start when two or more players in the course have hit the Race Block.

Finish the Race

To complete the race, reach the goal pole at the end of the course. In some courses, you'll need to get a Wonder Seed or defeat a Boss to finish.

Achieving first place will reward you with a trophy. You can view the number of trophies other players have earned on the Players screen while inside a friend's room.

Can You Join Friend Races with Randoms?

Can Only Join Friend Races While in a Room

You can only host friend races while in a room with friends. The Race Block will show up when entering a course with a group of friends.
