Has the Same Abilities as Other Characters

Unlike previous games, Yellow Toad has the same abilities as other characters.

The only difference playing as Yellow Toad is his appearance and voice, and how he looks like when transformed by power-ups such as the Elephant Fruit or by Wonder Effects.

Can Use Power-Ups

Yellow Toad can use power-ups that you can find around the stage, such as Fire Flowers and the Elephant Fruit! This grants Yellow Toad new abilities and attacks, and even a new appearance!

How to Play as Yellow Toad

Great for Any Course

Since Yellow Toad has the same abilities as the other characters except the Yoshis and Nabbit, they are a great choice for almost any course in the game.

We recommend using Yellow Toad on courses that has a lot of power-ups or requires a specific power-up to access new areas and get all the collectibles.
