How to Unlock Sunbaked Desert Special World Entrance

Complete the Stages Beyond the Broken Bridge

To unlock the Sunbaked Desert Propeller Flower leading to the Special World, give the Poplin 50 Flower Coins to repair the bridge, and complete the courses beyond it. You also need to complete Secrets of Shova Mansion by finding the hidden exit, to open a path leading to Flight of the Bloomps.

Pipe Leading to Fungi Mines World 5

After unlocking the big ? Door by stepping on the tiles on the overworld, go past the Rolling Ball Hall Course, to find a hidden pipe by the wall. The pipe leads to a secret passageway behind the waterfall, with Captain Toad looking for treasure.

Pipe Leading to Shining Falls World 3

In World 4, you can pay a Poplin Flower Coins to repair the broken bridge, leading to the Secrets of Shova Mansion course. To the left of this course, there is a pathway that seemingly leads to nowhere, but actually leads to a pipe that is obscured from view!

Follow the path and enter the pipe to meet with Captain Toad in the Fungi Mines, who has no idea how he ended up there.

Badge Challenges

Badge Challenges are special courses made to test the player's skills by restricting them to use a specific badge required to complete certain courses.

Players also start as small when doing the challenge but you'll go back to normal size once you leave the challenge.

Completing a Badge Challenge lets the players unlock the badge used within the course.
