New Threads is one of the Main Missions in Spider-Man 2 (PS5) for Peter Parker. Read on for a detailed walkthrough, a list of rewards for completing the mission, and tips on how to complete New Threads!

New Threads starts in the south side of Astoria. A cutscene will automatically play once you go near Connor's house.

Search Doctor Connor's House
When you enter Doctor Connor's House, you will have to search it for any clues on his whereabouts. You can explore the entirety of the house, but to progress you just need to go to the kitchen downstairs and observe the claw marks on the table.
Solve the Piano Puzzle
To solve the keypad minigame, you will need to press the correct button pattern, and the solution can be found in the children's piano toy in the living room. Although, if you do not want to bother, then the press the purple key three times, and then the green key once.
Piano Puzzle Bug
Players may encounter a bug that stops progression if they use the D-Pad when choosing a button. You can solve this by either removing the shortcuts attached to the left and right D-Pad in the game settings, or by going to the Gameplay settings and turning on Simplify Puzzles to skip this part.
Search Dr. Connor's Lab
Once you open the hidden path to his lab, you can start searching Doctor Connor's secret lab for more clues. To progress, look at the surveillance footage on the monitor. A cutscene will reveal where he may be.
Search Dr. Connor's Panic Room
After the cutscene, pull open the doors to his panic room by pressing L1 + R1 and mashing the Square Button. Inside, find and pick up the vial on the ground near the hole in the wall so that another cutscene would play.
Defeat the Hunters
When the Hunters appear, you will need to defeat all of them to move forward. There will be Hunter Beasts and Brutes present among the enemies, so make sure to prioritize them since they pose the largest threat in the fight. Try to save your abilities and Finisher moves for them if you can.
Swing to the Fish Market
Once you defeat the Hunters, Peter will ask Miles for help and you will automatically switch to him. Swing to the Fish Market just north of Harlem to continue the mission.
Defeat the Hunters Again
Inside the Fish Market, you will have to take out all of the Hunters. Try to remain undetected as long as possible, since you will want to peform stealth takedowns while utilizing your web lines. You can even do ''Danger'' stealth takedowns without getting caught if you remain invisible and swing back up to a safe spot.
Catch Up with Ganke Drone
After Ganke hacks the drone, you can follow it by pulling the broken metal gate. Past it, turn right through two holes in the wall, and keep crawling straight ahead. Then, swing up on the pipe in the room and keep moving forward until you find a sewage pipe network through a hole in the wall. Just crawl forward until another cutscene plays.
Search for the Lizard
When the cutscene ends, open up the metal gate ahead of you by pulling on the wheel with L1 + R1. Then, pull and open the other metal gate to your left and another cutscene will play.
Defeat the Hunter Convoy
During the chase sequence, you will need to eliminate the Hunter convoy chasing the Lizard by approaching the jetskis and pressing the Triangle button. Make sure to press the buttons on screen on time during the Quick Time Events.
Stop the Gunship
Suddenly, you will switch to Peter where he has to stop the gunship following Connors. Catch up to the gunship by pressing the X Button while you swing to gain speed, while also using your web wings to glide. Make sure to also dodge the missiles it fires at you by pressing the Circle Button as you approach it.
Avoid the Lizard
Then, you will switch back to Miles, and you will have to dodge the Lizard's attacks as he chases you by pressing the Circle Button when your Spider-Senses start tingling. Throughout the sequence, you will also need to press L2 + R2 on screen to do an alley-oop with Peter.
Afterwards, a cutscene will play which completes the mission, and you can progress to the It Chose You main mission next.
