New Game Plus (NG+) will be added in an upcoming update for Spider-Man 2 (PS5) before the end of 2023. Read on to learn what features Spider-Man 2 New Game Plus will contain, and what to do after completing the main story.

According to James Stevenson, one of the developers of the game, New Game Plus will be added as a feature in an update before the end of the year. He also mentions that mission replays will also be added in the same update.
There is currently no option to start a New Game Plus on Spider-Man 2. After completing the main story, you have the option to continue with your existing save or start a new one to play at Ultimate difficulty.

The previous Spider-Man games carry over your gadgets, gadget upgrades, skills, tokens and suits when you start a New Game Plus.
We speculate that it will be the same for Spider-Man 2, allowing you to carry over your upgraded abilities, gadgets, and suit tech.
You can resume playing your save file to find all the collectibles in the overworld and complete side missions that you may have missed.
You can also start unlocking trophies to obtain the Dedicated Platinum Trophy. Some trophies can be unlocked by progressing through the main story while others require performing specific tasks and finding all collectibles.
New Game Plus is an extra game mode that lets you replay the game from the start but lets you carry over your progress such as abilities, levels, and experience to the next playthrough. Some games also add new features that are previously not encountered in the first playthrough.
The previous Spider-Man game and Spider-Man Miles Morales included a New Game Plus option that you can unlock after beating the game.
