How to Get the Black Suit

The Black Suit can be unlocked by completing the main mission, Good Men, in Spider-Man 2 (PS5). Read on to learn how to get the Black Suit, as well as the abilities and trophies you can acquire upon unlocking the suit!

Notice	This page refers to the first black symbiote suit you will get as you progress through the story. The Symbiote Suit is the second story-unlocked black suit. The Webbed Black Suit is the symbiote suit from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 movie. The Classic Black Suit is the original symbiote suit from the comics.

You can unlock the Black Suit by progressing through the main storyline of the game, specifically during the 'Good Men' Main Mission.

Black Suit Abilities

Unlocks an Additional Skill Tree

Once you've unlocked the Black Suit, a new skill tree will become available for Peter under the Skills Tab in the Options Menu.

You can acquire certain abilities such as Symbiote Strike, Symbiote Yank, and other abilities under the skill tree once you've collected enough Skill Points or progressed enough in the story.

Receive A New Suit Trophy Upon Unlocking the Black Suit

Unlocking the Black Suit will also reward you with the A New Suit Trophy that you can add to your list of achievements in the game.

Black Suit and Symbiote Suit Differences

The Appearances of Both Suits are Different

Unlike the Black Suit's streamlined design and compact outline, the Symbiote Suit appears to give Peter a more menacing and intimidating appearance when worn.

The black tendrils seem to be more prominent when donning the Symbiote Suit, in contrast with the Black Suit where it could be mistaken as one of Peter's conventional suits.
