How to Beat Scream

Scream is the boss fight you will encounter during the This Isn't You Main Mission in Spider-Man 2 (PS5). Read on to learn how to beat Scream, her background, and what her role will be in the game.

How to Beat Scream

1. Phase One - Activate Car Alarms Near Scream
2. Phase Two - Avoid Her Ranged Attacks
3. Dodge Her Hair Whiplash
4. Phase Three - Dodge Her Hair Slam
5. Bring the Pipes Down

Phase One - Activate Car Alarms Near Scream

During the This Isn't You Main Mission, you will encounter Scream as a boss fight in the game.

When Scream is located near a car during Phase One of the boss fight, activate its car alarm by pressing L1 and R1 and yanking off the car door.

The sound of the alarm will disorient Scream, giving you a chance to attack.

Phase Two - Avoid Her Ranged Attacks

When Phase Two of the boss fight starts, Scream will unleash some ranged attacks toward you that seem to appear like symbiotic daggers.

Avoiding these projectiles should be easy given their slow speed.

Dodge Her Hair Whiplash

Scream will use her hair as some sort of whiplash to attack you. Watch out for your Spider-Sense ability to know when to avoid the symbiotic hair extensions.

Phase Three - Dodge Her Hair Slam

When Phase Three of the boss fight starts, Scream will be using her hair as a hammer to slam it on the ground with great effect. Dodge these attacks when you can to avoid taking damage.

Bring the Pipes Down

You will be able to see some large metal pipes in the vicinity when you fight scream. Press L1 and R1 to drop the metal pipes and create a reverberating sound that will disorient Scream.

Unleash a set of attacks when she is momentarily stunned from the metal sounds.
