How to Use Super Slingshot

Launches Spider-Man Forward

As seen in the gameplay reveal for Spider-Man 2, Super Slingshots launch Spider-Man flying forward by holding L2 + X at certain locations, providing players with a high-speed option of getting around the city. This is much faster and propels Spider-Man further than using the Slingshot Launch!

Less powerful version available as a Skill

Skill	Description	Cost
Slingshot Launch	Hold L2 + X while on ground to charge a Slingshot Launch, then release to propel the hero forward in the air. Unlocked by Default	1 Skill Point/s

Should players want a quick boost while traversing the iconic city that is New York, the Slingshot Launch is a handy skill that works in lieu of heading to Super Slingshot locations.

This skill works similarly to Super Slingshots in that players need only to hold down L2 + X and your Spider-Man will start charging up the Skill no matter where you are in the city.

Where to Find Super Slingshots

Head to Slingshot Icons On the Minimap

Super Slingshots are areas in the city with orange lights that resemble a runway. These won't appear when opening the Map menu and instead shows up as a slingshot icon in the minimap.

How to Unlock Super Slingshot

Available After Show Me New York

Players can start using Super Slingshots after completing Show Me New York, the third main mission. Prior to finishing this mission, Super Slingshots will not be available to use and won't appear anywhere in the game at all.
