How to Glide With the Wingsuit

Ride the Wind With Updrafts and Windtunnels

With the introduction of the wingsuit, Spider-Man can now glide while traversing New York by following updrafts and wind tunnels, which are identified in-game as flowing lines between buildings and select areas.

With his wingsuit, Spider-Man could either glide upwards or descend at great speeds by riding the wind of these visible wind paths by pressing the Triangle button (△) while midair.

Best Used Alongside Web Swinging

While helpful to speeding up Spider-Man's traversal, gliding with the wingsuit descends over time, which makes pairing it with web swinging ideal to maintain both elevation and speed as you swing past the streets of New York.

Pairing gliding and swiging is particularly useful for locations with fewer buildings to swing from like Central Park or Queens.
