Who is Cindy Moon?

Also Known as Silk in the Spider-Man Comics

Cindy Moon is a character that was revealed in the post-credits scene of Spider-Man 2. She is mostly known as Silk by the superhero community in Marvel Comics.

Given that she was only introduced by the end of the game, it could be speculated that Cindy may take on her superhero identity as Silk in future installments of the franchise.

She may possibly even become a playable character in the future, given that Spider-Man 2 (PS5) already showcased gameplay wherein switching between two Spider-Men is possible.

Cindy Moon is a superhero who goes by the name of Silk when she puts on her mask. She was bitten by the same radioactive spider that gave Peter Parker his powers, granting her superhuman abilities that are similar to Spider-Man's.

Unlike Peter and Miles, Cindy produces her webbing organically. She can voluntarily secrete a web fluid through her fingertips, similar to the webbing produced by her predecessors. The only difference is that she can produce webbing without web shooters.

The first suit iteration of Silk's costume consisted of her own webbing being fashioned into a skin-tight suit. Her suit gradually got more detailed and defined throughout publication, which resulted to her current black and white costume in the comics.

Cindy Moon's character in the comics has garnered such a large following that Marvel decided to publish her own comic titles.
