Responding to crime breakouts can be advantageous as these are quick and easy sources of XP and Tech Parts. Crimes randomly appear within your vicinity as you swing around New York. Keep an eye on your mini-map for a red triangle to know of nearby crimes you can stop.
Clearing Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Requests (FNSM) are also a quick way to farm Tech Parts.
Active FNSM requests can be accessed by swiping left on the touchpad during the main mission, One Thing at a Time.
All Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (FNSM) Requests
Spider-Bots are little spider-shaped robots spread across the city that are only found on the minimap. These Spider-Bots can be detected by players through pulsating sounds whenever Spider-Man is near one.
With 42 Spider-Bots in the map, collecting all of them would be an easy way to farm Tech Parts!
EMF Experiments is the spiritual successor to Peter's Lab Spectograph minigame from the first Spider-Man game and rewards players with Tech Parts upon completing a puzzle.
Hunter Blinds are locations where Spider-Man can take on Kraven's men that are scattered across the city. These challenges usually reward players with not only Tech Parts, but also Rare Tech Parts.
All Hunter Blinds and Hunter Base Locations
Tech Parts are mainly used to upgrade Gadgets and Suit Tech. As you progress through the game, more upgrades will be available for you to unlock which can help give either Spider-Man more gizmos to use in combat.
Along with City Tokens, players can use Tech Parts to craft unlocked Suits in the game. As with previous games in the series, Suits will need to be crafted after getting unlocked before they are available to be equipped.
