Combo Resupply | Adds a chance for a free gadget shot at the end of a 4-hit melee Combo. Total Skill Points Needed: 2 |
With how lenient the game is when it comes to spamming Square in combat, upgrading this skill as early as possible is highly recommended. Even in fights against larger groups of enemies, it's still easy to get a 4-hit melee combo off without having to dodge incoming attacks allowing more chances to get free gadget shots.

Parry Disarm | Successfully Parrying a light enemy's attack causes them to drop any weapons they are holding. Total Skill Points Needed: 2 |
Parry Disarm comes early in the Shared Skill Tree coming in right after unlocking Slingshot Launch. This nifty skill comes in particularly handy when facing enemies armed with any type of weapon and rewards successful parries with a disadvantaged opponent.

Perfect Dodge Recharge | Abilities are partially recharged after performing a Perfect Dodge. Total Skill Points Needed: 3 |
Perfect Dodge Recharge comes in right after another recommended skill: Combo Resupply. As you progress in the game, more Gadgets will be unlocked for either Spider-Man to use and having this skill unlocked early on lets you be able to use Gadgets more frequently.
For those unfamiliar with Perfect Dodges, this can be accomplished by timing a dodge with the red indicator in-game.

Web Swing Combo | Tap Triangle on impact of a Swing Kick to perform a follow-up attack that lifts the enemy higher in the air. Total Skill Points Needed: 5 |
While one of the more expensive skills on this list, Web Swing Combo is definitely worth the Skill points as this allows players to isolate enemies in aerial combat.
Since Swing Kick already launches an enemy in the air, this skill helps keep them in air for longer, giving you more time to get attacks off while avoiding other enemies.

With how the new Fast Travel system works, players mostly need to resort to good old webslinging to get around New York City. Loop De Loop gives a decent speed boost while giving players the option to head straight into Web Gliding for faster traversing.

Air Swap is a great skill to have as it lets you dodge enemy attacks without having to drop to the floor. Especially useful in fights against multiple enemies, you can simply launch an enemy in the air and stay up there knowing this skill lets you dodge enemies without having to drop back to the ground.
