How to Dodge

Press Circle When Spider-Sense Activates

Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - How to Dodge
During combat, you could anticapte incoming enemy attacks by checking out Peter or Miles' Spider-Sense. The Spider-Sense is shown in-game when circular lines appear around Peter or Miles' head.

The circular lines indicating the Spider-Sense ability will appear white at first, which will be the optimal time to press Circle and dodge.

Press L1 to Parry

A new feature introduced in the game is the ability to parry attacks. This allows you to stagger opponents and inflict damage more efficiently.

Players can parry by pressing L1 just as an enemy lands a melee attack. A good way of making sure parries are the most effective is to watch the character model of your enemy and pressing L1 right before you get hit.

How to Perfect Dodge

Dodge When Indicator Turns Red

While the concept of a Perfect Dodge remains the same, the main difference is the indicator is now red. Anytime your dodge indicator appears red, this is the game telling you its the perfect time to dodge enemy attacks.

Executing a perfect dodge in the game slows down time and provides an opportunity for Miles or Peter to counterattack.
