Who Was Craig Goodman?

Technical Artist at Insomniac Games

Craig Goodman worked at Insomniac Games as a Technical Artist for over 15 years. Goodman was part of the team behind the Ratchet & Clank series (from the very first game to many of its sequels), Song of the Deep as well as Marvel's Spider-Man from 2018.

During 2019, Craig Goodman sadly passed away after an arduous fight with cancer. The in-game mural was meant to honor his tremendous work and legacy in the gaming industry, as well as his lasting impact in the Spider-Man Games.

Spider-Plushy Is Call Back From Similar Tribute

A Spider-Plushy can be found at the mural, this is a call back to a similar tribute they did for him in the 2021 game Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. In the game, bear-like plushies named Craiggerbears could be collected across different planets which would unlock a trophy when the first would be found and another upon finding all Craiggerbears.
