Players can stop crime in Spider-Man 2 (PS5) as part of the many activities available in New York. Read on to learn how to stop crime and see rewards for stopping crime in the game.

Similar to the previous game, players can traverse New York City and defeat criminals to stop crimes. Crimes appear in various parts of the city and will be available to players via the in-game HUD. Crimes will appear on the right side of the screen and will provide a waypoint for players to follow.
Check out the table below to see the types of Crimes available in the game:

| Hunter Patrol | Defeat All Hunters Bonus Objective: Achieve a 20x Combo |
| Assault | Defeat All Criminals Bonus Objectives: Directional Yank Enemies, Parry (3) Enemies |
| Arson | Defeat all Cultists Bonus Objectives: Web Yank (3) Enemies, Hit Enemies (2) with throwables |
| Tanker Strike | Extinguish the fires; Take civilian to ambulance Bonus Objective: Don't take damage, Perfect Dodge enemies |

In place of Crime Tokens from the previous games, stopping crime will now reward Tech Parts along with XP. Players can get at least 40 Tech Parts from stopping crime while XP garnered will depend upon the crime.
Addionally, you can get more XP by completing any Bonus Objectives while stopping a crime.
