How to Find Omega Mark XII

Omega Mark XII Objectives
The Omega Mk XII is said to be a weapon that has the ability to shift between dimensions, making it a very powerful aid in battling Yiazmat. However, something went wrong somewhere, and the weapon became another mark to take down. Here's how you can take down this very strong boss and one of FFXII's strongest optional enemies.
Into Giruvegan Once More
| 1 | Return to the Great Crystal inside Giruvegan. Make your way to the Great Crystal's initial teleporter. |

The hunt for the Omega Mk XII weapon begins in Giruvegan. You'll be passing through familiar territory again, but it gets trickier as you proceed. Initially, you'll be facing off against enemies that you've faced off before. When you finally reach the Crystal, it's not the enemies here that you'll have to prepare for—it's the Crystal's mind-boggling labyrinth itself.
Navigating the Great Crystal
| 2 | Make your way through the areas until you reach the two paths covered by the Taurus gates. |

If you think that it was simple to make your way through the Great Crystal before, think again. If you've found yourself lost when you were searching for the way out during the game's story events, try making your way to the Omega Mk XII's room. It's a virtual maze and the only way you're getting through is if you've got a map. Fortunately, we've got one.
How to Get through the Great Crystal
Fighting the Omega Mk XII
| 4 | Once you've opened up the area, make your way through to the Taurus I gate. |

| 6 | Once you're done, make your way out of the Great Crystal. |
The Omega Mark XII is already activated when you walk into its lair. It is a very strong boss to fight against and is capable of wiping out everyone--from your main party to your reserves--at the speed of thought. If you want to navigate fighting the Omega Mark XII easily, take a look at this link.
Make Haste to Get Away

Once you've defeated the Omega Mk XII, prepare to make your way quickly through the labyrinthine Crystal. Don't stop to kill anything—just flee all the way to Waystone XVII. Once you're there, make your way down the Crystal. Alternatively, you can pinpoint your way to Kanbhru Pis (near the area where you faced off/will face off with Ultima) to make a save.
The Great Crystal Special Section - Omega Mk XII
Like in the quest for Shemhazai, a storyline Esper, getting through the Great Crystal is an absolute headache. Here's a (quick?) guide on how to get through the crystal to the area where Omega Mk XII is located:

| 1 | Head over to Waystone XX (it is easy to navigate to once you've fought Ultima already). Use it to go to Dha Vikaari Debon Ra. |
| 2 | Cross Kanbhru Pis after arriving and go to Sthaana Aquarius. Activate the Gate Stone, then go to Dha Vikaari Uldobi and use Way Stone XVIII. |
| 3 | Go enter Uldobi Jilaam Avaa and Uldobi Jilaam Praa'vaa. Jilaam Praa'vaa might be blocked by Gate Libra II, which can be accessed by using the Libra Gate Stone then backtracking to the Aquarius Gate Stone before coming back. |
| 4 | If not, the long way usually goes like this: left to Sthaana Libra >> right, crossing Dha Vikaari Sirhru >> right and crossing through Uldobi JiIlaam Praa'dii >> straight to Uldobi Jilaam Praa >> move to Uldobi Phulllam Oraa'vaa and to the Aquarius Gate 1. You can touch the gate to open it, but do not enter. |
| 5 | Return to Uldobi Jilaam Praa then take the right-most path. Activate the Gate Stone at Sthaana Capricorn before backtracking to Jilaam Praa. Take the right path to backtrack to Jilaam Praa'dii. |
| 6 | Take the only available path to backtrack towards Dha Vikaari Sirhru. Approach Waystone XVI before taking the first path going left to Sthaana Libra. Head right to Jilaam Pratii'vaa, then touch Gate Capricorn II. Like earlier, do not go through the gate. |
| 7 | What you should do is to return to Gate Aquarius. Go left at Sthaana Libra then right at Vikarrir Sirhru. Go straight towards Uldobi Jilaam Praa'dii, cross Uldobi Jilaam Praa, then left at Uldobi Phullam Praa'vaa. |
| 8 | With the activation of the Taurus Gate Stone, you can now go to Uldobi Jilaam Pratii'vaa. Enter the right path to go to Gate Capricorn II. Head on across to Jilaam Pratii and choose between the two. |
| 9 | The path to your left will lead to Uldobi Phullam Pratii'vaa and straight on to a Hastega chest; it's the right one you should go to, on to Phullam Pratii'dii and the Waystone XXI. |
| 10 | It is pretty straightforward from here, but Forbidden enemies, as well as mobs of Evil Spirits, might make it difficult. Make your way by following: Waystone XXII >> Waystone XXIII >> Waystone XXIV. |
| 11 | From Waystone XXIV, you should prepare all your buffs, because you're going up against a real tough enemy. In the Zodiac version of the game, each transition has an auto-save feature, so you don't have to worry about saving. |
