Hunt Objectives

No. Objective
1 The petitioner for this quest is none other than Montblanc. Finish speaking with him to know the details of the quest.
2 Montblanc will be sending you to the Nam-Yensa Sandsea. The Belito will allegedly be at the Zertinan Caverns.
3 On the way there, the bounty hunter Ba'Gamnan and his crew will ambush you. It will be revealed that he is the real mark for this hunt.
4 Fight Ba'Gamnan with the help of the bangaa Monid, a member of your clan.
5 Finish off Ba'Gamnan, and he will disappear for good. Talk to Monid to receive your rewards from Montblanc.

A Special Request from Montblanc

This is one of the quests which comes as a special request from the clan chief himself, Montblanc. Talk to him to get started on the quest.

Monid, the Bangaa

Once again, Monid will join you. The bangaa first went with you on the quest to hunt the Trickster. Apparently, vanquishing the Trickster wasn't enough to convince him, but he at least respects you this time around.

The Resilient Ba'Gamnan

When you get halfway to the location, it will be revealed that Ba'Gamnan had tracked you down. The bandit bangaa will be revealed to be behind the series of mishaps that most hunters--even skilled ones--had been encountering, trying to lure Balthier out once again.

No Belito At All?

It will also be revealed that the 'Belito' was a clever ruse on the part of Montblanc. Monid will explain this, as well as impart a letter and a reward from the clan leader, Montblanc.
