Weapon & Armor Slots Drops depicts the amount of possible slots the enemy's equipment drops will have while the Ability Drops depicts the possible amount of abilities the dropped weapon may have.

Neslug is an easy enemy, assuming you have the necessary setup. Neslug hides in its shell after taking more than 50% of its HP (2,000,000). While hiding in its shell, Neslug will start regenerating health and becomes immune to Physical damage.
Multi hit Overdrives are a must (namely Wakka's Attack Reels or Tidus's Blitz ace/Slice and Dice). Fight Neslug normally and make sure to remove Curse from Slime. Once Neslug hides in its shell, unleash your Overdrives as Overdrives are not treated as physical damage.
Use Entrust to instantly fill up the empty overdrive gauge and hopefully, destroying Neslug's shell (if damage dealt is not enough to destroy the shell, it is suggested to increase strength further by using Strength Spheres). Once Neslug's shell is destroyed, your victory is certain.
