Defeat enemies

Enemies are the most reliable source of spheres in the game. Just keep defeating enemies to obtain spheres. Ability spheres however, are rare at the beginning of the game so it might be wise to progress the game further for those.

Use Distillers

After some point in the game, you will be able to buy distillers. Use the same distiller type of the sphere you want to control what sphere the enemy drops. This is extremely useful at the start of the game to get ability spheres.
