Logos Review
A good secondary DPS and defensive support with an ability to save a player from their own mistakes by reviving a fallen ally once per battle. Logos is good to use at even a minimal investment of one or two more copies but gets much better with four more copies and beyond.

Background
Logos is a student at the Delphi Academy of Philosophy and the head of the Delphi Society. Her talent for Vision was discovered by the dean, leading to her exceptional induction into the Delphic Oracle, making her the youngest member in nearly a century. She excels in both character and learning and is highly regarded by the society for her gifts. Her name, derived from an ancient language, means "words, laws, philosophy, reason."
Story 1
Story 2
Story 3
Story 4
First Story
Logos is a student at the Delphi School of Philosophy, the head of the Delphi Society, and the youngest member of the Delphic Oracle in nearly a century. Known for her exceptional character and academic excellence, she is held in high regard by the Society due to her innate talents. Her name, derived from an ancient language, signifies "speech, law, philosophy, and reason".

As the head student, Logos bears significant responsibilities. She must create the duty roster for all Delphi students, assign roles and responsibilities, and oversee whether students from various faculties are fulfilling their duties. The complexity of this task is evident, considering that Delphi is home to some of the world's brightest, most energetic, and least conventional minds.

Second Story
According to tradition, the final stage of the Delphi Society's entrance exam — the interview — is held at the Altar of Wisdom in the Philosophia District. This ancient marble relic features a statue of Pallas, the god of wisdom worshipped by the ancient Delphians. Weathered by millennia of wind, frost, and rain, the statue's face is now indistinct. Although some have suggested restoring it, generations of scholars argue that the statue's blurred visage perfectly represents the ambiguity of philosophy, which can only be clarified through profound thought, not with a hammer and chisel.
At the age of 14, Logos ascended the Altar of Wisdom to face the final question before entering Delphi. Legend has it that this question has remained unchanged for millennia.
The ravages of time had shrouded Pallas's statue in a thick veil, and the featureless eyes gazed down upon the young Logos as the statue spoke:
"I am the god of omniscience. I can answer any question you ask, but once you know the answer, you must die. What will you do?"
This statue is a masterpiece created by craftsmen from the Mechanicus District, with gears and springs embedded centuries ago that still function, enabling it to speak. In the information age, geeks from the Mathematica District even added sophisticated AI chips to the statue. Depending on the questions asked by prospective students, the statue can give various responses, adding a touch of humor and wit to this serious exam.
"You should go to a church. They answer such questions for free, while professors at the Academy of Philosophy charge a fee."
— In response to "Does God really exist?"
"In simple terms, I suggest you earn more money. The satisfaction money can buy is beyond your imagination."
— In response to "How can I become fulfilled?"
"You might as well take me down and stand here in my place, taking over my job."
— In response to "How can I know the truth?"
Most people would ponder for a while after hearing Pallas's question, but Logos responded almost immediately:
"Please provide a mode of thinking that is both rigorously logical and morally sound, capable of yielding the optimal solution in any complex situation."
Pallas then fell silent for a long time. Just when Logos thought she had been rejected by the Delphi Society, the statue spoke again in a cheerful tone:
"Young girl, go to the School of Philosophy. There, you will find many who are willing to risk their lives for the answer to this question."
Subsequently, Logos was formally admitted to the Delphi Academy of Philosophy.
Third Story
As the Head Prefect of the Delphi Society, Logos held herself to an almost perfectionist standard, exhibiting a rare passion for all subjects. Few students shared her equal enthusiasm for every discipline.

She immersed herself not only in highly logical subjects such as mathematics and physics but also in the romantic arts like painting and music. Before the final exam for her harp solo course, she commissioned craftsmen from the Mechanicus District to forge her custom-designed harp, "Muse". The blueprint for "Muse" was detailed down to the specific alloy proportions for each segment of the strings to produce the exact sound she envisioned.
After the solo exam, the professor awarded Logos a well-deserved high score. But as Logos bowed and turned to leave the stage, the professor stopped her, saying, "Child, this is the first time I've heard this piece. What is it called?"
"I composed it myself, and it's titled 'Thought'."
"Why did you choose my course?" the professor asked.

"Because I love music," Logos replied sincerely.
"And why do you love music?" the professor continued.
"Because the essence of music is mathematics, and the essence of mathematics is pure logic," Logos answered.
"I see." The professor nodded. "Then I suggest that you should not take any more music courses at the Delphi Society."
"Why?" Logos asked, taken aback.
"You are not meant to play our kind of music. Don't worry, I'm not criticizing you, child. We use mathematical tools and theories to compose music, but the aesthetic beauty we aim for has little to do with mathematics. However, you are different. I can sense that your thinking is like a complex set of gears, each moving precisely as programmed. Even in your performance, what flows from your strings is not an auditory melody but a geometric rhythm. You use your fingers to segment the strings, not to play them; you are delineating and analyzing, not expressing or emoting. I'm not criticizing you," the professor repeated. "The core of your music has nothing to do with art or our concept of 'beauty'. Therefore, we, who study aesthetics, cannot help you progress further. That's all there is to it. This harp is excellent; do not let it gather dust. Continue creating your music in your own way. Perhaps your music can indeed come closer to human thought than ours."
From then on, Logos never set foot in another music class at Delphi, but she heeded the professor's advice and kept Muse with her always.
Fourth Story
Logos' bookshelf sees a frequent rotation of books, with the exception of one thick ancient Delphi dictionary that has never been replaced.
This dictionary was the only book she'd brought with her when she was admitted to Delphi and moved into the society's dormitory.
On the book's title page, a line of slightly sloppy handwriting reads:
"It is said that this language was created by the ancient gods themselves, containing their secrets and powers. It was abandoned by people because they could not understand its true meaning. Perhaps you will be smarter than I am, my dearest—"
The name that followed this sentence has been obscured by a dull, dried bloodstain, making it unreadable. This stain extends to the edge of the title page and seeps through several pages below.
Flipping through the pages, the last recognizable word tainted by the blood is "κόστος"—meaning "cost."
30 pages after "κόστος," the word "Logos" was circled in red, with a small, childlike annotation next to it: "My new name."
The page with "Logos" appears to have been splashed with water at some point, leaving a small, crinkled mark. The printed word on this wrinkled part is "ξεχνάμε", which translates to "forgetting," "blankness," "lesson," or "new beginning."

Logos is a worthy second fiddle to your main DPS since she deals great damage with the added capability of healing your team after using her rotation. Strengthen both her Critical Hit Rate and Critical Damage is a sure-fire way to boost her damage numbers. Take advantage of the Glaring anomaly with her Light element as she's perfectly capable of easily building it up on her own.

Hippocratic Oath is the 10-piece mark of choice since it meshes well with her playstyle where she just completes her rotation to heal the party. Adding this mark will give the other characters an additional damage buffs until she comes back in.

While there are a good number of choices for her additional marks, Terracotta General is the next-best choice to increase her DPS due to her skills dealing the Chase damage type. Golden Branch is included to proc Glaring easier, while Shining Star is just a generally good mark to add in for any unit.

This Ancient Mark recommendation was made based on the assumption that all characters involved have the 5-star version of their weapons.

Logos Skill Priority

Skill Explanation
Celestial Melody Logos' bread and butter ability that generates the utility her skillset revolves around (Notes). Upgrading her passive skill not only increases the damage of Rondo Suite but also the damage dealt by the Notes it generates afterward.
Multiple Concerto Deals the most damage (and generates the most Chord Echoes) of Logos' two main skills. Prioritize upgrading this over Melodic Variation.
Melodic Variation Does not deal as much damage as Multiple Concerto, this skill is only necessary to generate Chord Echoes.
Golden Ratio March Deals a decent amount of damage, though not as necessary to upgrade unless it also boosts the skill's Damage Resistance buff.
Impromptu Antiphony Only upgrade when all other skills have been maxed out, or if you somehow use Logos as a main DPS and need to boost the damage she deals whenever in Combo Burst mode.
Basic Attack Not as necessary to upgrade as all the other skills as basic attacks are only another way to generate Logos' Chord Echoes.

The skills listed here have been arranged in order of priority, with the topmost skill being the highest priority.

Essentially, players are recommended to upgrade skills closely related to skills that generate Logos' Chord Echoes and deal the most amount of damage. Except for her basic attack, players should prioritize her Passive skill and her two main skills, then put excess skill leveling materials toward her Ultimate Skill.

Zero Icon - Black Beacon Zero Logos Icon - Black Beacon Logos Florence Icon - Black Beacon Florence

Zero provides the overall attack boost for the team, unloading her first and second skills. Swap in Logos and generate a note before switching to Florence. Florence gets to benefit from Logos' notes and Zero's Attack Boost; she'll be able to unload her skills quickly before having to switch out for Zero again. This team will work better once Zero is at least Breakthrough Level 1.

Play until the Ultimate Skills of all three characters are charged. When you switch to Logos, do her rotation, then use her ultimate skill. When she's in the middle of doing it, switch in Florence, do her rotation, and then pull off her Ultimate Skill and queue Zero's Ultimate Skill. Start the rotation again from Zero.

Zero Icon - Black Beacon Zero Logos Icon - Black Beacon Logos Shamash Icon - Black Beacon Shamash

Zero and Shamash are available to the player from the very start of a Black Beacon playthrough, which means you will only need to get Logos from one of the game's retrieval pools to put together a competent enough team that can get you through the early Main Quest and other modes.

Just like the Florence team, use Zero, then Logos, then switch to Shamash and build up his Rage quickly to take advantage of Zero and Logos' buffs.

How to Play Logos

Logos's Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths
• Provides good defensive support in the form of a damage resistance buff from her ultimate skill.
• Fast attacks build up Light Elemental Anomaly (Glaring) in enemies quickly.
• Notes heal allies and debuff enemies' ATK, furthering her defensive support.
• Only needs two copies to unlock a majority of her support abilities.
Weaknesses
• Skills have long cooldown times if used too often, which can ruin a player's tempo if they fumble their rotation and fail to gather enough Chord Echoes in time.
• Healing is dependent on her ATK, so her ATK stat will have to be raised with Ancient Marks.
• Needs to be at Potential Level 6 to unlock her most useful feature - the ability to revive a fallen ally in battle.

Logos is a character with many playstyles: Secondary DPS that can help fill an enemy's Elemental Anomaly meter to deal extra damage to them via Glaring, a support that can heal her allies and boost their damage resistance, and even an off-field support that can revive her allies should they be defeated in battle.

However, if a player wants to make full use of all her support features (especially her revive ability), they will have to be prepared to invest in her in terms of Ancient Marks that boost her Attack stat (for more healing) and copies (to boost her Potential level).

Logos Gameplay Loop

Use her First Skill, Melodic Variation.
Use Basic Attacks 2 to 6 times.
Use the charged version of her second skill, Multiple Concerto.
Attack the enemy with Rondo Suite.
Switch over to your next character.

Use Her First Skill, Melodic Variation

First off, make sure that your Logos is at least at Breakthrough Level 1 (Level 20). When you switch to Logos, start her rotation by using Melodic Variation, her first skill, which will activate Tuning Mode and generate your first chord echo.

Use Basic Attacks 2 to 6 Times

Right afterward, attack two to six times with her basic attack. This should generate her second and third Chord Echoes.

Use the Charged Version of Her Second Skill, Multiple Concerto

For her fourth and fifth Chord Echoes, use the charged version of her second skill, Multiple Concerto, which makes her thrust forward.

Attack the Enemy with Rondo Suite

Once your Chord Echoes are complete, use her enhanced attack - Rondo Suite - which attacks enemies in a large area and grants Logos (and the character she will be switched for) a Note. Logos' Notes not only deal extra damage, but grant passive healing.

Switch to Your Next Character

After using Rondo Suite, immediately switch to the next character (preferably your DPS) so they can benefit from the effects of Logos' Note. If you can, try to switch out Logos while she's in the middle of doing Rondo Suite; Logos will still finish her animation, and your next character will still get all the benefits from her notes.

If her Ultimate Skill, Golden Ratio March, is already charged, use it first before switching to the next character so they can benefit from the Damage Resistance buff.

Logos Best Combos

Alternative Rotation

Combo
Melodic Variation x1 → Multiple Concerto (Charged) x1 → Basic Attack x2-6

This is an alternative rotation for Logos, which can be simpler for some players as you only need to rattle off her skills first, then spam attacks until you get Rondo Suite. To make this even faster, Logos can be switched out while she's in the middle of doing Rondo Suite; the next character still gets the Note it generates.

Logos Potential

Recommended Potential

Potential Explanation
P1 This potential raises the damage dealt by both of her main skills, which will always be used whenever you are running her rotation. This is an important upgrade to get, especially if you use her as a secondary DPS.
P2 One of Logos' other support abilities, which causes an enemy to deal less damage to the character that gets her Note. Can help keep your team's main DPS alive.
P6 P4 unlocks one of Logos' better support abilities: Reviving a fallen ally once in a battle. Particularly useful if you make a mistake and your team's main DPS is defeated. However, it may not be necessary if you can keep your characters alive.
P3 Gives Logos an Attack boost whenever she uses her Ultimate Skill. If you don't plan on using her as a main attacker, it is not an essential upgrade to get.
P5 Nice to get if you need to rely on Logos for healing, but otherwise not essential to make full use of Logos' abilities.

Some potentials were removed due to only being useful for Skill Enhancement or are still being assessed.
