What are Pendant Skills?

Story-Exclusive Skills

Cosmos' Pendant can be unlocked early on, providing skills to handle enemies and obstacles in the Main Story. These skills are not available in other game modes aside from the Main Story and EX's Head Librarian's Authority.

What are Pendant Skills

Cosmos' Pendant can be upgraded as you progress through the Main Story missions. There are a total of seven upgrades, each enhancing how you handle obstacles and enemies.

Initially, you can only cast Time Free Zone, which immobilizes enemies within the Chronosphere for 3 seconds. This ability has a 10-second cooldown in combat.

Pendant Upgrade 1

The Pendant's first upgrade allows you to trigger Overload, causing a burst of damage to enemies within the Chronosphere after 5 consecutive attacks. It can also be used to clear obstacles with a golden crack, such as rotating Repulsive Spheres.

Pendant Upgrade 2

The second upgrade automatically inflicts Overload on one of the enemies within the Chronosphere, without requiring an attack. Freezing a single enemy ensures that it enters the Overload state.

Pendant Upgrade 3

Dodging an enemy attack at the right moment automatically casts Time Free Zone on the attacker.

Pendant Upgrade 4

This upgrade allows Chronosphere to Parry or reflect enemy ranged attacks.

Pendant Upgrade 5

A successful Parry reduces the cooldown of Chronosphere by 1 second. With the right timing, you can cast Chronosphere consecutively if it parries multiple projectiles.

Pendant Upgrade 6

Another gauge has been added to the Chronosphere's icon, allowing you to cast Overall Time Freeze, which functions like a global Chronosphere. The gauge charges when you cast Chronosphere. Once full, click the icon again to activate Overall Time Freeze, which lasts for 6 seconds.

Pendant Upgrade 7

Overall Time Freeze now recharges gradually without the need to cast Chronosphere. Recharge is significantly faster when you're outside of combat.

Where to Practice Pendant Skills?

Repeat Missions in Main Story

Main Story

If you want to master these skills, you can repeat certain Main Story missions. Keep in mind that you can only use these skills within the Babel Tower and some stages in EX's Head Librarian's Authority.

Practice These Skills in EX Mode - Head Librarian's Authority

Head Librarian

There is a game mode that offers more of a challenge when using these skills. Instead of selecting Main Story, select "EX" and tap "Head Librarian's Authority." There are three stages to complete, each with three sets of missions with different difficulty levels.

I Overload

Overload

This challenge tests your skills with the Overload mechanic. You must trigger Overload a set number of times and on multiple enemies within a number of minutes.

II Parry

Parry

Parry skills can be mastered in the Parry missions, where you must successfully reflect ranged attacks, avoid getting hit, and defeat enemies within a certain time limit.

III Overall Time Freeze

Overall Time Freeze

You can also practice Overall Time Freeze in this challenge. In this challenge, you must trigger Overall Time Freeze a certain number of times while avoiding enemy attacks within a set time frame.
