Black Beacon's Resource stage offers various upgrade materials for boosting your characters. This guide will explain how to start missions in Resource stage and the rewards you can obtain.

What Are Resource Missions?
Resource Missions Reward Upgrade Materials
Resource stages are the primary way to obtain upgrade items ("Develop Items") outside of Main Story chapters. Resource missions are divided into three categories: Stats, Breakthrough, and Skill.
Each of these is further divided into sets of missions that correspond to specific items, which are then further divided into Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme difficulty modes. The harder the mission, the more of the specified upgrade material you get.
How to Start a Resource Mission
Find the Resource Tab in the Start Battle Menu
A Resource mission can be easily initiated by switching to Resource mode, which provides different sets of missions with various upgrade materials as rewards.
| 1 |  From the home screen menu, tap Start Battle. This will take you to the game mode selection screen, where the default option is Story Mode. |

| 2 |  Tap the Resources icon on the center-right side of the screen, next to Main Story. |
| 3 |  Here, you can select between Stats, Breakthrough, and Skill. |
| 4 |  Select your preferred category, and it will open three sets of missions that reward different upgrade materials depending on what set you pick. |
| 5 |  After selecting a set, four missions can be initiated. However, you must reach a certain Seer Level and complete them in order to unlock the next one. Later missions are more difficult but offer rare materials. |
Resource Stage Rewards
There are three categories in the Resource stage, each containing stages with different missions and rewards. However, you must increase your Seer Level to 45 to unlock all missions.
All of the missions here also reward Vision and 10 Rune Shards (One-Time Only).
Stats
In Stats, you can farm upgrade materials to increase your character and weapon levels. There is also a stage where you can farm Orelium, the currency used for upgrades.

Breakthrough
Breakthrough also has three stages, offering breakthrough materials needed to increase a character's or weapon's maximum level.

Skill
Skill stages are unique since all of them reward upgrade materials for skills. However, characters require different items for skill upgrades. For instance, Asti requires Painting upgrade materials, while Ereshan needs Manuscripts.
Here are the types of rewards you can obtain for each mission:

Why Is Completing Resource Missions Important?
To Farm Upgrade Materials and Seer EXP
Resource missions are repeatable, making them the best way to farm upgrade materials while also increasing your Seer level. Make sure you have enough Clarity Points, as each mission consumes 20 points upon completion.
Additionally, completing all objectives on a mission unlocks the option, Sweep, which allows you to automatically complete it without combat.
Obtain Rune Shards
Although it's only a one-time reward, there are multiple missions to complete that award you Rune Shards. These are very useful for purchasing Time-Seeking Keys and Lost Time Keys, which are used to obtain characters and weapons in Retrieval.
