The Infinite Multiverse mode offers a series of challenging missions where players must assemble a team to eliminate enemies within the time limit and collect points. These points can be used to obtain Rune Shards, Scars of Infinity, and Orelium. This mode is divided into the Peripheral Area and the Contested Area or Core Area, with players needing to complete the former to unlock the latter.
Infinite Multiverse is unlocked by completing Main Story Chapter 4-18.

Newcomers to Infinite Multiverse will first encounter the Peripheral Area, where players will have to complete six stages by eliminating all enemies within a given time. You can earn up to three stars per stage based on your clear time. For every three stars collected, you will receive a set of one-time rewards, such as Rune Shards and Scar of Infinity.
Additionally, completing all stage objectives unlocks the Core Area.

|---|---|
| 2 | ![]() Select "Explore" from the list of game modes. |
| 3 | ![]() Choose "Infinite Multiverse" and tap "Start." |
| 4 | ![]() Select "Stage 1" and tap the magnifying glass icon beside "Stage" to check enemy details. Also, check "Challenges" to view the mission's objectives. If you are ready, press "Go into battle." Take note that you must complete each stage in order to unlock the next one. |
| 5 | ![]() Form your team with consideration for the mission buff and R. Power to maximize your characters' combat performance. |
| 6 | ![]() Once your team is set, tap "Start Battle" to begin combat. Since Infinite Multiverse missions do not consume Clarity, you can attempt them as many times as you want. |

Each stage has a set of conditions that can affect the battle outcome, particularly the clear time. To minimize the time spent eliminating all enemies, it is best to consider the mission buffs, recommended power, and enemies' elemental weaknesses.
For example, in Stage 1, it is best to use Light characters, as the mission provides a 30% Light damage boost and some enemies are weak to Light. Additionally, consider assigning characters with 3,000 power or higher to withstand enemy attacks and deal sufficient damage.
| Stage | Mission Buff | R. Power | R. Element |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 30% Light damage boost | 3000 | Light, Fire, & Dark |
| 2 | 30% Dark damage boost | 3500 | Light & Dark |
| 3 | 30% Thunder damage boost | 4000 | Thunder, Water, Light, & Dark |
| 4 | 30% Water damage boost | 5500 | Water, Light, & Dark |
| 5 | 30% Fire damage boost | 6500 | Fire, Thunder, Dark, & Water |
| 6 | 50% Damage Resistance | 8000 | Fire, Dark, & Water |

There are six Star Levels in the Peripheral Area, each rewarding you with 200 Rune Shards, 150 Scar of Infinity, and 20,000 Orelium. Make sure to complete all challenges to obtain these one-time rewards and unlock the Core Area.

If you thought the Peripheral Area was tough, then you will be surprised to learn that the real challenge of Infinite Multiverse is the Core Area. Here, you can access two stages: Deep Zone - I and Deep Zone - II. These zones feature more challenging battles, with a recommended power level starting at 8,500 (compared to the first stage of the Peripheral Area having a recommended power of 3,000).
Similar to the Peripheral Area, each zone has six Floor Missions that increase in difficulty, culminating in a boss battle on the Final Floor. Each zone also has a single buff applied to its respective floors and a time limit of 5 minutes. You can also earn Stars by completing each floor within the given time limit.
| 1 | ![]() Tap "Start Battle" at the bottom right of the home screen menu. |
|---|---|
| 2 | ![]() Select "Explore" from the list of game modes. |
| 3 | ![]() Choose "Infinite Multiverse" and tap "Start." |
| 4 | ![]() Select either "Deep Zone I" or "Deep Zone II." You can also check the stage buffs by tapping the magnifying glass icons. This will be the default screen after completing all objectives in the Peripheral Area, but you can return to it by pressing the icon at the bottom right of the screen. |
| 5 | ![]() Set a team that you will use throughout the Floor missions. Tap "Start Battle" once your team is ready. Keep in mind that you cannot change characters midway, and you must reset the entire zone if you wish to edit your team or use a different one. Additionally, you cannot use characters assigned to another zone. |
| 6 | ![]() Select a Floor. If this is your first time, you must start from the 1st Floor and progress up to the 6th or Final Floor. Rather than having different buffs, the floor missions in each zone have a single active buff, which changes every two weeks. |
| 7 | ![]() Tap 1st Floor and review the buffs, objectives, R. Power, and enemy types. If you are confident in your team, tap "Go into battle." |
| 8 | ![]() If you are not confident in your team due to low power or an elemental disadvantage, return to the Zone selection screen and tap the "Reset" icon, then "Confirm" to create a new team. Take note that this will also reset your floor progression in the selected zone. |
| 9 | ![]() Once you have chosen the best team for the bi-weekly floor missions, tap "Go into battle." |

Deep Zones I and II require characters with 8,500 power or higher. Make sure your characters are fully equipped and have reached their maximum levels to complete the floor missions in Deep Zones I and II.
| Floor | R. Power |
|---|---|
| 1 | 8500 |
| 2 | 9400 |
| 3 | 10300 |
| 4 | 11200 |
| 5 | 12100 |
| Final | 13000 |

There are 12 Star Levels to reach in the Core Area. Although the reward for each Star Level is only 60 Rune Shards, 50 Scar of Infinity, and 50,000 Orelium, the Core Area's missions and rewards reset every two weeks. This makes it an effective way to farm Rune Shards and Scar of Infinity.
You can potentially earn 720 Rune Shards and 600 Scars of Infinity every two weeks if you clear all challenges in every floor mission.

It is important to have characters leveled up to the max, along with their weapons and skills, to enhance their performance in the Core Area. Moreover, you will need a variety of characters to ensure that all enemy elemental weaknesses are covered, helping you clear each stage or floor more efficiently.

When your characters are at their maximum level, the other best way to increase their power is to equip Ancient Marks. These talisman-like items enhance your character's stats like HP, piercing damage, or elemental attack based on their rarity.
Make sure to complete Tome of Fate runs to earn Ancient Marks for your characters, as well as Seals of Fate that can also be used to buy Ancient Marks from the Shop.

Even if your characters are at max level and fully equipped with Ancient Marks, mastering skill rotation and team synergy is crucial to maximizing their potential. Ensure that character skills complement each other, such as Zero's second skill, which increases the team's attack for 20 seconds, making it especially effective when paired with other DPS characters.

The Infinite Multiverse's Peripheral Area offers a significant amount of Rune Shards. For every 3 Stars acquired, you are rewarded with 200 Rune Shards, 150 Scars of Infinity, and 20,000 Orelium. With six stages to complete, you can potentially earn 1,200 Rune Shards here.
Meanwhile, the Core Area provides bi-weekly rewards of Rune Shards, Scars of Infinity, and Orelium in a series of battles. Make sure to earn all Stars to maximize the rewards. Since it resets every two weeks, this is one way to farm Rune Shards.
All Ways to Get Rune Shards and Best Uses

Aside from pulling weapons through the Retrieval option, you can farm Scar of Infinity in Infinite Multiverse and purchase weapons from the Token Redemption. Note that all weapons available here are limited to a single purchase.

Since the missions in the Infinite Multiverse do not consume Clarity and feature tougher enemies, this is one of the best places to test your team synergy while also potentially earning rewards. Make sure to check each character's skill effects and cooldowns, potential, talents, and weapons before creating your team.
