Most characters in Black Beacon can effectively clear Chapter 5 with sufficient level investment. However, to make quicker work of enemies, consider forming a party that can exploit their elemental weaknesses. In this case, using Fire, Water, and Electric characters will deal the most damage to the majority of enemies in this chapter.

Walkthrough
| 1 |  The level starts with a conversation with Xin. |

| 2 |  Talk to three members of Weishi. The first one can be found to the southeast. |
| 3 |  The second and third ones can be found to the west. |
| 4 |  Once done, head to the teleporter. |
| 5 |  Move north in the next area. |
| 6 |  Once you reach an intersection, you'll encounter a truck surrounded by enemies. Defeat them to rescue their driver. |
| 7 |  Once all enemies are defeated, interact with the glowing object on the floor. |
| 8 |  Interact with another glowing object on the other side of the truck to reveal a treasure chest. You'll play a simple minigame to unlock the chest. |
| 9 |  Once you're done, go to the southwest part of the map and interact with the glowing object. |
| 10 |  Move northeast and interact with another glowing object. |
| 11 |  From the previous location, move south and interact with the final glowing object in front of the large building. |
| 12 |  Move north and interact with the gate to open it. |
| 13 |  Follow the path from the gate and defeat the enemies. There’s also a treasure chest along the way. |
| 14 |  Once all enemies are defeated, interact with the glowing object on the side of the truck. |
| 15 |  Destroy the crystals blocking the path. |
| 16 |  Enemies will spawn as you move forward. Take them out. |
| 17 |  Interact with the glowing object at the end of the path. This is where the level ends. |

Walkthrough
| 1 |  The level starts with Qing explaining the need to escort the truck drivers. |

| 2 |  Follow the truck driver who is carrying a box. Clear the obstacles with skills and basic attacks. |
| 3 |  Follow the driver to the bridge. Be sure to trigger the insect eggs before the driver comes within range. |
| 4 |  Enemies will spawn at the far end of the bridge. Take them out. To keep the driver safe, you can move far away from him to stop his movement. This allows you to deal with enemies and obstacles with less worry. |
| 5 |  Follow the truck driver once again. |
| 6 |  Another mob will appear. Take them out. |
| 7 |  Right after the utility pole, another set of enemies will spawn. Carefully take them out while avoiding the insect eggs' explosion. |
| 8 |  Clear the obstacles in your way. |
| 9 |  A single enemy will appear as you follow the path. Take it out and clear the obstacles behind it. |

| 1 |  Follow the road to the left. |

| 2 |  Some enemies are attacking the pipes. Take them out. |
| 3 |  Talk to a nearby NPC. |
| 4 |  Fix the valve by long pressing this button. |
| 5 |  Follow the road northward until you reach a barricade, then interact with the glowing object there. |
| 6 |  Once the barricade is removed, head to the teleporter. |
| 7 |  Enter the structure to the northeast. |
| 8 |  Enemies will spawn here. Defeat them. |
| 9 |  Interact with the glowing object. |
| 10 |  Fix the water pipes again. |
| 11 |  Another set of enemies will spawn. Take them out. |
| 12 |  Some engineers will arrive at the site and multiple waves of enemies will appear as well. Take them out. The waves will stop once all valves are repaired. |
| 13 |  Climb the stairs. |
| 14 |  Interact with a glowing object on top of a crate to unlock a treasure chest. Select the Ask the Worker option to open it. |
| 15 |  Go northeast and defeat the enemies. |
| 16 |  Fix the valve by interacting with the glowing object on the ground. |
| 17 |  Move north and interact with the glowing object near the barricade. |
| 18 |  Once the barricade has been lifted, interact with the nearby NPC. |

Walkthrough
| 1 |  Xin continues the pursuit of Wushi. |

| 2 |  Enemies will attack Xin throughout the level, focus on dodging them. |
| 3 |  Keep following Wushi. Crystals will also block your way, use your first and second skills to destroy them. |
| 4 |  Destroy a cluster of crystals blocking your way. |
| 5 |  Keep following Wushi while avoiding enemies and destroying crystals. |
| 6 |  Keep the pursuit and remember to stay close to Wushi to avoid failing the level. |
| 7 |  You'll encounter a curve as you follow Wushi, close the gap by dodging forward. |
| 8 |  The elevated platform will gradually collapse as Wushi passes by. Remember to always dodge forward to keep up with him. |
| 9 |  A cluster of crystals will block your way as well. Use Xin's skills to destroy them instantly. |
| 10 |  Keep following Wushi. |
| 11 |  Go down the elevated platform. |
| 12 |  Enemies will spawn in this area. Use Xin's ultimate skill to eliminate them in one go. |
| 13 |  Climb onto the platform to corner Wushi. A cutscene will play, and the level will end here. |

Though Qing suspected Nong Ji’s involvement in the occurrence of the Cerulean Blight, the Seer and his companions spent one more night at his residence.
Despite his success in CangLin City, Nong Ji still thinks about what he could have done for the people of the western region during the Great Famine fifteen years ago.

| 3 |  Interact with the glowing object on the right side of the map to claim a treasure chest. Select the option I'll read it for you. |
| 4 |  Go back to the main path and go northward. Destroy a crystal blocking your path. |
| 5 |  Follow the path until you reach an area with a tree in the middle. Take out the enemies here. |
| 6 |  Before proceeding go northward. Take out a few enemies there. At the end of that path, a treasure chest awaits. |
| 7 |  Go back to the main area and approach the gate to the left. Talk to the nearby NPC. |
| 8 |  Follow the path to the west. |
| 9 |  Once you encounter the three gates, move north and defeat the enemy there. |
| 10 |  Head to the teleporter. |
| 11 |  In the next area, you will pursue Wushi. Destroy the crystals and avoid the traps as you chase him. |

| 13 |  Go back a bit and move to the left. Then, approach the teleporter. |

Qing mobilizes all professionals in CangLin City to manually close each valve in order to stop the sprinklers from flooding the city with contaminated water.
Though Qing had previously broadcasted that all CangLin City residents must stay home, they went outside to help the understaffed government operation close all the valves.

This fight features two bosses: Pi and Wushi. Following the recommended power level for this stage and exploiting the elemental weaknesses of these bosses will make the fight easier. Focus on having Water, Fire, or Electric characters on your team.
Additionally, use characters with wide AoE attacks to increase your chances of hitting both bosses during the battle.

This boss fight is similar to the battle in Chapter 5-16, except it has a higher R. Power requirement and a few minor enemies at the start. Take advantage of the initial wave of enemies to charge skills and the Combo gauge. Also, prioritize using Water, Fire, or Electric characters to exploit their elemental weaknesses.
