| Xin was once an orphan from the Western Region. Her family, who lived by herding, was killed during a disaster in the area. Young Xin had nowhere to go and survived alone in the waste for several years. This experience honed her strong will and keen senses. After the Bureau of Oversight & Integrity took control of the Western Region, Qing, who was performing official duties there, noticed Xin's excellent vision. Initially, the two clashed due to their contrasting personalities, but eventually, Xin accepted Qing's proposal and joined WeiShi. To help Xin better integrate into CangLin City, Qing not only had her join WeiShi but also arranged for her to work at a street office near the Bureau of Oversight & Integrity, where she serves as a coordinator responsible for maintaining public order. Xin’s self-reliant and assertive nature has left a deep impression on both lawbreakers and her colleagues. Now, Xin is like a child stepping out of the wilderness and embracing the world for the first time. Although she is strong-willed, she is also full of anticipation for the outside world. | The Red-Haired Stranger Reappears on the Streets: Hero or Villain? Recently, the enigmatic “Fiery-Haired Phantom” has resurfaced on Fengnan Street! Known for appearing and vanishing without a trace, this mysterious figure, identifiable by its fiery red hair and remarkable agility, remains an enigma with an unknown name and affiliation. The Fiery-Haired Phantom has been particularly active lately, with numerous street residents reporting sightings. Our agency conducted exclusive interviews with some of these witnesses. Uncle Qian, a security guard: “Well, I heard someone shouting ‘My wallet was stolen!’, and immediately, a red blur darted forward. I didn’t even see the thief’s face before this unfortunate kid was dangling in the air like a chicken. I can still remember that blood-curdling scream...” Aunt Wang from the flower shop: “Last time, my cat Mimi climbed a tree and was too scared to come down. I called the street office for help, but before anyone arrived, that red figure flew from my balcony to the tree and brought the cat down. Mimi was fine, but my poor chrysanthemums on the balcony were nearly trampled into the soil.” Nurse Luo: “That day, the Qi family’s child had a high fever, and there was a major traffic jam. We had no choice but to seek help from the community. Shortly after we hung up the phone, the red-haired figure appeared, grabbed the child, and dashed to the hospital as if flying over roofs and walls, saving the day! The only issue is the families in those buildings are quite upset because you can still see shoe prints on their walls.” All evidence suggests that while the Fiery-Haired Phantom performs good deeds, their actions are often reckless, causing significant trouble while helping residents. Some say he is from a foreign land, dedicated to acts of chivalry; others believe he is closely connected to the Bureau of Oversight & Integrity, always escaping unscathed from major incidents. Another theory claims he is just an unemployed wanderer, acting purely on whims. Regardless of the truth, our reporters will continue to follow this story, bringing readers the latest updates on the person behind the red hair. |

| To survive in the harsh wilderness of the Western Region, one must not only know how to extract resources from the barren land but also how to protect their food supply from the ever-changing weather. Without proper treatment, the hard-earned food would quickly spoil due to moisture and temperature fluctuations. The food processing methods in the Western Region are quite unique. Locals often use boiling, fermenting, smoking, or drying techniques to make various ingredients into storable food. Xin learned these simple yet rugged cooking techniques from her parents at a young age, enabling her to survive in the wilderness for several years. Whether it was tree bark, wild fruits, insects, or weeds, Xin could turn them into edible dishes. After arriving in CangLin City, despite having access to a variety of ingredients and stable preservation technology, Xin continued to use her simple and direct cooking methods from the wilderness, creating bizarre dishes from various ingredients. "Stir-frying chili peppers with durian gives you a spicy and sweet flavor!" "That wild herb is a bit bitter, so add some chocolate when you make a hot pot!" Just hearing Xin talk about her recipes could send shivers down anyone’s spine. Surprisingly, while her dishes might look and smell terrible, they often tasted quite good. Xin compiled her experiences with different ingredients into a recipe book. According to her, the book records the flavors, toxicities, and cooking methods of over a hundred types of food. To outsiders, however, it appears to be a small booklet filled with doodles, short sentences, and misspellings. |

| As Qian steps into a new era, it places significant emphasis on public education. To date, Qian’s education system covers everything from kindergarten to university graduation. The educational philosophy is that everyone should have equal access to education and the freedom to choose their own path. Naturally, Xin, who is illiterate and lacks basic common sense, feels out of place in CangLin City. Helping Xin adapt to modern life has become a challenging task for Qing. Xin’s basic knowledge is so lacking that she can’t recognize simple alphabets, understand basic concepts, or even read or write her own name. Qing initially considered enrolling Xin in a professional educational institution. However, the moment Xin saw the small chairs in the classroom and the children she would be studying with, she left without looking back. Besides providing education, Qing had to consider Xin’s self-esteem as an overage student. In the end, Qing decided to carve out time from her busy schedule to personally teach Xin to read and write. From literacy to etiquette, from history and mythology to natural science, Qing spared no effort in teaching her everything she deemed important or anything that piqued her interest. Although the process was arduous, Xin gradually learned some basic words. However, due to Qing’s busy schedule, these private lessons were often interrupted. Qing had to leave the study materials in Xin’s room, encouraging her to study on her own after their sessions. During her free time, Xin occasionally picked up the materials with confidence and tried to study on her own. However, more often than not, she would fall asleep within five minutes of opening the books. |

Xin is a main DPS unit that benefits the most from increasing her Critical Hit Rate and Critical Damage. Depending on the setup and team composition, ATK or Pierce is the stat of choice, with the latter being capped at a certain threshold for efficiency.
Being a unit that relies mostly on basic attacks, Xin benefits from both Solar Corona and Locked Flood Dragon, which are both 10-piece Ancient Marks.
Both marks also synergize with Xin's kit since she relies on using her skill to empower her basic attacks afterwards, which, in turn, activates both marks.
This Ancient Mark recommendation was made based on the assumption that all characters involved have the 5-star version of their weapons.

| Skill | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Lightning Specter | Lightning Specter enhances the damage of Xin's enhanced Basic Attack, Shadow Stab Blitz, which is her primary source of damage. |
| Swift Stab | Xin's first skill is essential for applying Galvanic Electricity to enemies. |
| Electricity Stomp | Xin's second skill is the only one, aside from her Ultimate, that can remove Galvanic Electricity from enemies and gain a Lightning Dash stack. |
| Twin Spear | Not particularly necessary to upgrade, but it can help Xin restore Vigor for her second skill if her first Talent is unlocked. |
| Thunderclap | Not necessary to upgrade, but helpful for increasing Xin's damage output even when she is switched in during rotations. |
| Thunderous Might | Not necessary to upgrade; it is more useful for instantly acquiring three layers of Galvanic Electricity. |
The skills listed here have been arranged in order of priority, with the topmost skill being highest priority.
Xin's bread and butter is dealing damage with her enhanced Basic Attack. Her first and second skills are lower in priority but can still be useful for dealing additional damage to enemies. However, the other skills should only be upgraded if you have spare upgrade materials.

Viola

Logos
|
Set Viola as the team's First Strike to quickly activate her passive skill, which deals AoE damage to enemies for 15 seconds. Once active, switch to Xin to perform her skill rotation, then switch back to Viola after executing her enhanced Basic Attack. Swap to Logos from time to time to charge her Ultimate and deal Elemental Anomaly ("Glaring").
Once all Ultimates are charged, queue Viola’s and Logos’ Ultimates. After that, switch to Xin and cast her first skill before using her Ultimate.
If you have unlocked Logos' second Talent and fifth Potential, you can increase the frequency of swapping her in, as she can act as the team's healer.
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
Ming | Breaker Since Xin needs to be up close to enemies when dealing damage, Ming's second skill (Gleaming Light) is particularly useful. It surrounds Ming and swapped-in characters with flames that deal passive damage to enemies for 10 seconds. |
Azi | Assist Azi's Basic Attacks and skills can potentially reduce enemies' damage resistance through her passive (Tang Arts: Skillful Use), allowing Xin to deal even more damage against them. Additionally, Azi can help the team build up the Elemental Anomaly, "Thunderclap." |
Hephae | Assist Hephae's passive ability (Safe Ops) enhances Xin's survivability on the battlefield by granting her additional damage resistance. Moreover, unlocking her fourth Talent allows her to heal frontline characters whenever the Elemental Anomaly, "Burning," is triggered. |
| DPS | Assist (First Strike) |
Assist |

Zero
|
Asti
|
Zero will be the First Strike of the team to activate her party-wide ATK buff. Once the buff is active, she can switch to Xin to quickly perform her skill rotation, then switch back to buff Xin's attacks again.
Asti can be swapped in from time to time to cover for Xin's vulnerabilities. Though their ultimates can be queued, it is advisable to queue only Zero's and Asti's ultimates, as Xin must apply Galvanic Electricity to enemies to maximize the utility of her own ultimate.
Repeat the process by buffing Xin's attacks through Zero's ATK buff while mitigating damage by healing the team with Asti's passive skill.
| Strengths | |||
|---|---|---|---|
|
• Skill rotation is quick and can deal high damage against groups of enemies. • Skills are not Vigor-hungry; only the second skill and Ultimate consume Vigor. |
|||
| Weaknesses | |||
|
• Vulnerable to enemy attacks while performing Shadow Stab Blitz, but can be swap canceled to avoid this issue. • Electricity Stomp, Xin's second skill, has a brief delay and does not track enemy movement, which can sometimes cause it to miss. |
Xin is one of the fastest attackers in the game due to the quick animations of her first and second skills. However, she relies on applying and removing Galvanic Electricity on the same enemies to perform her enhanced Basic Attack. Casting her second skill against enemies without Galvanic Electricity applied or missing them altogether can disrupt Xin's quick skill chaining.
When using Xin, make sure to stack three Lightning Dash charge as quickly as possible to unleash her enhanced basic attack, Shadow Stab Blitz. This powerful attack deals Derivative Damage to Xin's enemies.
Keep in mind to apply Galvanic Electricity to an enemy using her first skill first, then use her second skill or Ultimate to gain Lightning Dash.
Use Xin's Swift Stab
to apply Galvanic Electricity to her enemies. This move does not consume Vigor.
Unlocking her Breakthrough Level 1 allows you to apply Galvanic Electricity through Xin's final attack in her Basic Attack and Dodge Counterattack.
Xin's second skill can be used right away, but it is important to perform it after applying Galvanic Electricity to an enemy.
Note that this skill does not track enemies, so it is better to predict their movement, especially against fast-moving ones. Attacking an enemy affected by Galvanic Electricity also removes this skill's cooldown.
The purpose of using Xin's first and second skills is to gain stacks of Lightning Dash. Make sure these skills hit the same targets to chain them until you have stacked three layers of Lightning Dash.
Once your Lightning Dash stack is full, perform Xin's enhanced Basic Attack (Shadow Stab Blitz). This unleashes a flurry of attacks that hit multiple enemies, dealing Derivative Damage. This attack consumes all Lightning Dash stacks.
Keep in mind that her enhanced basic attack does not restore Vigor, and you are not invulnerable during its animation.
Though her 1st and 2nd skills have no cooldowns, if you hit the same target repeatedly, you will likely need to restore Vigor after chaining them. Instead of using basic attacks against enemies, it is better to swap her out for a support character to buff her attack or heal her.
Before using her Ultimate, make sure to apply Galvanic Electricity to enemies. This allows her to restore a stack of Lightning Dash based on how many enemies were hit by her Ultimate. By using her Ultimate against three or more enemies affected by Galvanic Electricity, you can instantly follow up with Shadow Stab Blitz.
| Combo |
|---|
| Swift Stab → Electricity Stomp → Swift Stab → Electricity Stomp → Swift Stab → Electricity Stomp → Shadow Stab Blitz → Switch Character |
This combo prioritizes quickly stacking Lightning Dash by applying Galvanic Electricity through Swift Stab and detonating it with Electricity Stomp. Though the steps are quite long, Xin's skills are fast enough that you can complete this combo within a few seconds.
You can even swap-cancel Xin while performing Shadow Stab Blitz, allowing supporting characters to apply their buffs more quickly.
| Combo |
|---|
| Basic Attack → Electricity Stomp → Basic Attack → Electricity Stomp → Swift Stab → Electricity Stomp → Shadow Stab Blitz → Switch Character |
If you have unlocked Xin's first Talent, you can use her Basic Attack to apply Galvanic Electricity while also restoring Vigor for her Electricity Stomp and Ultimate. Though this is slower than her skill combo, it allows Xin to stay on the battlefield longer by enabling you to constantly cast Electricity Stomp.
| Combo |
|---|
| Swift Stab or Basic Attack (if Talent 1 is unlocked) → Thunderous Might → Shadow Stab Blitz → Switch Character |
The most important aspect of this combo is applying Galvanic Electricity to more than three enemies and hitting them with Xin's Ultimate. This immediately stacks three layers of Lightning Dash, allowing you to perform Shadow Stab Blitz instantly.
| Potential | Explanation |
|---|---|
| P5 | This increases Xin's Shadow Stab Blitz's derivative damage by 8%, as well as its number of strikes and AoE. This is important because Xin's gameplay focuses on performing her enhanced basic attack. |
| P6 | Since you will constantly apply and remove Galvanic Electricity to perform Shadow Stab Blitz, this Potential is useful for passively lowering the enemy's electric resistance. |
| P2 | Not as essential as the first two potentials, but it can be useful if you increase Xin's critical hit rate. |
| P3 | Ultimates take some time to activate, so this one is not reliable for quickly dealing damage to enemies. |
Some potentials were removed due to only being useful for Skill Enhancement or are still being assessed.
