How to Get Paintings

How to Get Paintings - Banner 2
There are multiple of paintings available in the game which you can collect and receive from finishing quests. These paintings can be hanged and displayed inside your house at Corvo Bianco. Below is a list of all the paintings available in the game and how to get them.

Purchased Paintings

Most of the paintings can be bought from the painting merchant in toussaint. This merchant can be found near the Grandmaster Armorer, north east of Nilfgaardian Embassy.

Name: Artuza's Tower at Sundown

This painting can be bought from the merchant beside the grandmaster armorer in toussaint.
Name: Ruins of an Old Fort
Cost: 20

Name: Harvest Time in White Orchard

Quest Reward Paintings

Name: The White Wolf, by Count Beledal
Cost: Free
This painting can be received as a reward during the Witcher Contract called Contract: Big Game Hunter.
Name: Portrait of Geralt
Cost: 1000
You can purchase this painting for 1000 coins from the painter during the quest called A Portrait of the Witcher as an Old Man. This quest will only be available once you finished A Warble of a Smitten Knight.
Note: During this quest you will be asked to choose one of the three poses and if you would like the griffin to be a part of your painting. The choices you make will affect the final outcome of the painting.

How to Get Decorations

Tournament Shields

Name: Sir Geralt of Rivia's Shield and Ravix of Fourhorn's Shield
Cost: Free
Both shields can be received during the Side Quest called The Warble of a Smitten Knight upon registering for the tournament.

Ancient Elven Shield

Name: Ancient Elven Shield
Cost: Free
You can get this shield during the hidden Side Quest called Extreme Cosplay. The Ancient Eleven Shield will be part of the quest item that you will need to finish the quest. However, you will be able to keep this item even after finishing the quest.

Other Paintings

You will be able to receive some other paintings throughout your quests but you will not be able to hang them on Corvo Bianco. These paintings can only be viewed inside the main menu.

Heirarch Hemmelfart

Name: Hierarch Hemmelfart
Cost: Free
This portrait can be received from the Dwarves after you complete the quest A Poet Under Pressure.

Portrait of Iris and Olgierd

Name:Portrait of Iris and Olgierd
Cost: Free
This portrait can be grabbed on the table from the master's bedroom inside the Everec Manor during the quest Scenes From a Marriage.

Starry Night Over the Pontar

Name: Starry Night Over the Pontar
Cost: 20
This painting can be bought from the auction during the quest called Open Sesame.
