Objective 6 Choice: Investigate the Voice or not

You can either tell Lambert that both of you should investigate the voice or head straight into the cave.

Objective 8 Choice: Old Speartip

You can choose to either sneak past or kill Old Speartip in the cave after crossing the pond.

Objective 10 Choice: The Three Trolls

If you choose the option Right... We've talked enough. or Not gonna happen. in the next set of options, you will be forced to fight the three trolls before reaching the Circle of Elements.

If you choose the options Lemme talk, all right? and then We'll leave our swords. Come back for them later., you can avoid fighting the trolls. You will get your swords back after filling the Phylactery with Elemental Magic.

The Final Trial Tips and Strategies

Exploration Tips

• Use the Cat Potion to see in the dark while in the cave, allowing you to find the alternate paths instead of using the Aard Sign to break the rocks.

Combat Strategies

Harpies

• You can use your Crossbow, the Aard Sign, or a Grapeshot bomb to make them fall down and attack them on the ground.
• Coat your Silver Sword in Hybrid Oil to deal bonus damage against them.

Drowned Dead (Drowners)

• You can use the Igni Sign to set them alight and give yourself an opening to attack.
• Coat your Silver Sword in Necrophage Oil to deal bonus damage against them.

Water Hag / Bilge Hag

• You can use the Nothern Wind bomb to freeze them and prevent them from going underground.
• Coat your Silver Sword in Necrophage Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
• Use the Igni Sign to set them alight to give yourself an opening to attack or use the Quen Sign to cleanse the mud that is blocking your vision.

Foglets

• Use the Moon Dust bomb to prevent them from going invisible.
• Coat your Silver Sword with Necrophage oil to deal bonus damage to them.
• Cast the Quen Sign to protect yourself from their surprise attacks.
• There are subtle movements in the fog which determines the Foglet's position. A successful attack while they are invisible will reveal them and stagger them.

Old Speartip (Cyclops)

• Coat your Silver Sword in Ogroid Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
• Cast the Axii Sign to make them stagger and give yourself an opening to attack or cast the Quen Sign to protect yourself from the their heavy attacks.
• It is recommended to use Heavy Attacks against them since they are slow and have little time in between their openings.

Rock Trolls

• Coat your Silver Sword in Ogroid Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
• Cast the Quen Sign to protect yourself from the their heavy attacks.
• Separate them from each other and use 3 Heavy Attacks against them and then wait for another opening to attack.
