Gourmet is a must-have skill!
If you ever find yourself lacking HP regen items early in the game, this skill will save you early in the game. Getting this skill means that you can save up food since it prolongs the duration of the HP regen the food gives. The effect lasts for 20 minutes in real time but, the effect will disappear once you meditate in the game.
Conclusion
Regardless of the build you are going to use, using your first skill points to get this skill will be worth it. This skill will become even more essential to your starting builds in higher difficulties since your need to regen HP also increases.
