It is also recommended to use Fire-Based Class Strikes to deal considerable damage to Grapplavine and instantly wipe out lesser enemies appearing on the battlefield.
All Class Strike and How to Unlock
Grapplavine's weak spot is its head, so aiming for it will reinforce your attacks and possibly incapacitate the boss if you're relentless with your attacks.
Grapplavine will perform an attack where it raises its head for a while, which becomes offscreen when you're near enough to the boss. Afterwards, it buries its head to the ground which causes rocks to scatter and hit you if you're near.
You can dodge this attack by staying close to its main body, or moving away from Grapplavine's general direction.
Grapplavine executes a sweeping attack where it uses its head to sweep the surrounding area, flinging party members caught in its range. This attack can be indicated when its head begins to glow green in battle.
It is recommended that you dodge or move away towards the opposite area to where Grapplavine is currently located to avoid the attack, as the sweeping motion has a substantial range when used.
