Defeat the Benevodon of Earth in Chapter 5

During the events of chapter 5, you'll have a bout with the Benevodon of Earth while riding the Dyluck.

After defeating Garethe, you'll find the Lumina Lantern on the boat and will be able to use the Light Elemental Vessel on your journey.

How to Use Lumina Lantern (Light Elemental Vessel)

Create Light Beams

You can use the Lumina Lantern to activate certain elemental triggers in the open world. These include activating stone pillars to create light beams to reach new areas.

Link Enemies and Make Them Take Shared Damage

Characters equipped with the Light Elemental Vessel can link damage dealt to an enemy onto other enemies. This can be used to increase your multi-target damage without investing in area damaging skills.
