Weapons Explained

Weapons Provide Additional Offensive Stats

Equipping weapons will increase the amount of damage your attacks and magic attacks can deal to enemies. Each weapon have their own Attack stat and Magic Attack stat which raises their respective damage types.

Consider equipping gear that will allow your character to maximize their main damage type so if you have your characters mostly dealing physical attacks then consider equipping weapons with high Attack stat over high Magic stat!

Weapons Have Different Physical Damage Types

Weapons are also divided into two damage types: Strike and Slash. Take note of these when facing enemies or bosses, as both can target specific weaknesses. You can see the damage types of each weapon in the stat screen as well.

Not all weapon types can be equipped by all characters in the game. Each class has their main weapon type that they can equip so consider which gear you have in your inventory before changing your classes to maximize your team's damage output.
