Mantis Ant's weak spot is its belly, so you will need to constantly get behind the boss to attack its rear belly. Once you've dealt enough damage, the belly will begin to fracture. This will help you get Mantis Ant to be incapacitated.

Attack Mantis Ant when it gets incapacitated to deal guaranteed critical hits during battle, which can help you shave off a huge chunk of its HP.

Use Tornado and Zephyr Spin to Exploit Weakness

Avoid Crystal Bombs From Belly

Mantis Ant has an attack where he drops on all fours and sprouts multiple crystal bombs on the battlefield. After the bombs explode, he will jump toward the area where the explosions occurred and create a shockwave.

When Mantis Ant begins to initiate this attack by dropping on the ground, anticipate the incoming attack by dodging the red markers that appear on the battlefield as they usually indicate where the bombs will land.

Stay Grounded During Ring Attacks

Mantis Ant will perform long-range ring attacks that will hover over the battlefield. The ring attacks can mostly target your party when they jump, so avoid jumping when the ring attacks hover over you.
