What is an Elemental Plot?

An Elemental Plot is a class system where you spend Elemental Points to acquire new passive and active skills. Each Elemental Plot is unique to the individual classes and characters found within the game. You can unlock more Elemental Plots as you progress and obtain more Elemental Vessels.

Skills are Usable Even When Switching Classes

Once you have unlocked a skill, it can still be used even when you are using a different class as long as you are still using the required weapon for it. Buffs such as the Thunder Saber can be used on any weapon so try to experiment with other weapon types.

How to Expand Your Elemental Plot

Use Plot Expansion Items

You can expand your Elemental Plot by using a plot expansion item called Tonics, which unlocks more advanced moves and abilities. These tonics can be obtained after defeating certain bosses as you progress through the game.

Unlock Skills Using Elemental Points

Elemental Points are used for unlocking new abilities in the Elemental Plot. Use these points to acquire all of your initial abilities and use the tonics to unlock the next series of skills.

Acquire Elemental Vessels

To unlock more Elemental Plots, you need to equip an Elemental Vessel for the specific element that the class is tied to. These vessels can be obtained throughout the story as you progress so be patient when you are trying to unlock more classes.

Switching Vessels and Classes

You can quickswap your class anytime by pressing R2 while you are in the character menu. Keep in mind that a vessel can only be equipped by one character and can be swapped out with other vessels.
