How Do Side Quests Work?

Optional Quests in the Open World

Side Quests are purely optional quests that you can find in the open world. These quests can give various rewards that will help you throughout your journey.

Setting a Priority Side Quest

Once you have accepted a side quest, you can open the Side Quests menu from the Party menu and choose the side quest you want to focus on to set them as priority. This will show a hint on the map as to where your current objective is to help complete the quest.

Quests with Exclamation Point (!) on the Map

In order to find a side quest, you have to look for a yellow exclamation point (!) icon found on the map. Head for the icon and talk to the NPC in order to accept the quest.
