List of Contents
Elemental Aeries are optional trials where players are handsomely rewarded after defeating waves of enemies within a time limit. To enter an Elemental Aerie, you must obtain the vessel matching the element tied to the aerie you're aiming for.
Greater Elemental Aeries can only be unlocked by completing Lesser Elemental Aeries of the same element, which makes Greater Elemental Aeries more difficult to access compared to their lesser counterparts.
Pressing the R3 button on PS5/Xbox or T on PC in the map shows the progress of Lesser Elemental Aeries completed. Check your progress regularly to see if a Greater Elemental Aerie is available or not.
Blue Dots on the map potentially indicates the location of a Lesser Elemental Aerie. Note that blue dots may also be a treasure chest, meridian, or an elementite.
Greater Elemental Aeries are not indicated on the map, but have a distinct appearance of a large tower covered in its element.

Make sure to equip the strongest gear you can get your hands on. Having weak equipment can make the party take too much damage or deal too little damage.
Some of the best ways to obtain stronger gear are by purchasing it from town shops or by obtaining it through treasure chests or quest rewards.

Plan strategies based on the enemies' behavior and elemental weakness in the world before challenging them in the aerie, as enemies in the world have identical attack patterns and weaknesses to the enemies in the aeries.
Enemies inside the aeries are weak to the element opposite of the aerie they are in. Adjust your abilities, classes, and vessels accordingly before challenging an aerie.
