Use Slash Attacks Against Aeve Zalaha

Aeve Zalaha is weak against slash attacks, so it is recommended to equip your characters with classes specializing in slash attacks to increase their viability in battle. Val and Morley are recommended members during this battle.

For Morley, it is recommended that you have him equipped with a knife weapon so he can perform his special attack that can greatly damage Aeve Zalaha.

Increase Your Weapon Attacks with Buffs

Use Careena and equip her Divine Fist Class to take advantage of her buff skills such as Incinerate, Morale Boost, Strengthen, and Fighting Spirit.

Use Shade Sight Against Aeve Zalaha

Use Shade Sight against Aeve Zalaha to reduce its mobility during battle. Luna Globe is ineffective against Aeve Zalaha, so you won't be able to take advantage of stopping time and attacking the boss during this fight.

Use Dark Shield or Crystalline to Defend Against Its Dark-Based Attacks

Aeve Zalaha's attacks will mostly consist of dark-based attacks, so it is recommended to cast Dark Shield against his many plethora of dark attacks to reduce the damage you'll incur.

You can also use Crystalline, which gives you immunity to any sort of damage. Use these two skills as much as you can to prolong your health in battle.

Attack Its Neck and Tail When Its HP Reaches Below 80%

When you've reduced its HP below 80%, Aeve Zalaha's weak spots will begin to appear. This can be indicated when both its neck and tail are glowing purple during this stage.

Attack both its arms and legs after you've reached this point in battle to exploit its weak spots in battle.

Move Away From Miniature Black Hole

Aeve Zalaha will unleash a miniature black hole that aims to suck your party members toward the center of its range. From there, the black hole will explode and damage nearby members in its vicinity.

When the boss initiates this attack, dash away from the red target marker that appears below the black hole to avoid incurring damage from the incoming explosion.

This is a dark-based attack, so using Dark Shield can help reduce its damage if caught in the explosion.
