Use Dark-Based Abilities Attack the Boss After His Combo Attack Avoid His Teleportation Attack Avoid His Luminous Projectiles Reduce His HP to Half

Use Dark-Based Abilities

Daelophos is weak to Dark, so it is recommended that you use dark-based abilities against him in combat to exploit his weakness.

Avail the Dark Saber skill for either Val or Morley, and imbue any ally's weapon with dark elemental damage to give you an advantage.

Attack the Boss After His Combo Attack

Daelophos has a 3x combo attack that involves slashing with his sword. He performs this combo in a single direction, enabling you to dodge it so long as you move away from his line of attack.

Once the final slash to the ground has been executed, use that chance and counterattack.

Be Wary of the More Powerful Combo Attack

Daepholos' combo attack has a more powerful version where the slashes have more intensity and range. Simply wait for the combo to finish and deliver the blow after his final slash at the end.

Avoid His Teleportation Attack

Daelophos performs an attack where he teleports and materializes at your location, rushing toward you as he delivers a slash attack.

During his teleportation attack, it is recommended that you prioritize dodging to avoid incurring damage from his sequence of slashes.

Avoid His Luminous Projectiles

Apart from his plethora of close-range attacks, Daelophos also has a ranged attack where he shoots out luminous projectiles toward you.

These projectiles usually line up horizontally to target you, so anticipate where the attacks will line up and dodge to where these projectiles won't hit you.

Reduce His HP to Half

This boss battle only requires you to get Daelophos HP to half, so you will only need to survive the fight and inflict as much damage as you can to complete it.
