Checkmark Aim the Cannon On Its Head When It Emerges

Use the Cannon to Shoot Its Yellow Cores

Garethe's weak spot is its yellow cores, so use the cannons on the ship's edge and target its eyes to exploit its weakness and inflict significant damage.

You may need to aim the cannon higher if Garethe is farther than its usual distance so you can hit it.

Avoid the Falling Rocks

Garethe's attacks usually involve throwing large rocks toward the ship, which can be indicated by the red target markers appearing on the surface. Move away from the target markers to prevent incurring damage.

Attack the Enemy Minions During Cannons' Cooldown

The cannons will initiate a cooldown after each use, so defeat enemy minions present on the ship during cooldown.

Use Class Strikes to Defeat Weaker Enemies

There are instances where Garethe will send enemy minions to face your party. Use Class Strikes to dispose of them quickly and avoid prolonging the fight by facing them.

Aim the Cannon On Its Head When It Emerges

Once its HP nears 0, Garethe will emerge from the sand and reveal its head. Proceed towards the cannon, and target its head to land the final blow of the battle.
