Activate Meridians to Save the Game
Meridians appear on the overworld as glowing, indistinct specks floating around. Interacting with them allows you to save your game progress and access additional features like fast travel and returning to the title screen.

This is the only way you are able to save game progress manually so always take the time to activate Meridians around the map when you come across them.

Choose a Save Slot

Choose a Save Slot
You may choose one of the ten manual save slots to input your save file. Doing this will save your game progress permanently.

Overwrite Save Files

Overwrite Save Files
Overwriting the save data will replace your previous save on the save slot with your current save point. You will be unable to access the save file you overwrote, so do this under your discretion.

You Can Delete a Save File

You Can Delete a Save File
Delete a save file by pressing X on your controller and consent to its deletion afterward. Do note that this process is irrreversible and once you delete a save file, there is no other way to get it back.

Is There Autosave?

There is an Autosave Feature
Autosaves happen during a pivotal moments like before a major boss fight, passing through load gates, or before exiting the game. This process is usually indicated by the spinning sigil on the screen.

You may only load Autosaves from the title screen, as only manual saves are allowed to be loaded from within the game.
