The best class for Julei would be the High Cleric due to its specialty in using healing magic and having passive healing abilities. When Julei first joins you in Chapter 4, it is best to use the Sage (Wood Elemental) class first until you have received the Lumina Lantern.

The best party members for Julei as a support are Val and Palamena. Use Val as your tank with the Aegis class so he can taunt and provoke enemies while Palamena casts her magic from afar and Julei will be your healer just in case the enemies bring down your teammates.

Try to stay far away from enemies so you can continuously support your tank and DPS if ever they get low. In addition to recovering HP, Julei can also remove debuffs and status effects once he has the Aromatic Mint ability from the High Cleric elemental plot.

Healing Scales With Spirit Stat

The best stat to focus on for Julei is the Spirit stat since your healing magic scales off it. Keep in mind that weapons can also provide more Spirit so we recommend to upgrade your weapons consistently.

How to Unlock Julei

Recruited After Defeating Grapplavine in Chapter 4

Julei is the 5th and last main character you can add to your party in the game. Julei can be recruited after the Grapplavine boss fight during chapter 4 in Mylos Woods.

After the said battle, continue with the main questline until you obtain the Dryad Sprig. After the dialogue scene, Julei will join the party.

Who is Julei?

A Sproutling from Verdous Borough

Julei is a sproutling that resides in Verdous Borough. Every 4 years, a Sproutling wakes up and becomes the Custodian that takes care of other sproutlings in the forest and Julei is the one that's active during Val's travels to the said forest.

After a series of events during Val's visit, Julei becomes chosen as an Emissary by the Dryad and joins the team on their journey to the Mana tree.
