Standard Cable has a chance of dropping when defeating a specific type of enemy.

Use Thief's Boom Box Skill

Your ally Thief has a skill in his skill tree called Boom Box. When this skill affects an enemy, it will provide a higher chance for the enemy to drop materials.

The Boom Box skill does not work on vehicles and bosses.

Purchase From Shops for 200 Zeni

Some materials can be found on sale from peddlers or item shops. The Standard Cable can be purchased from some shops for 200 zeni.

Note that some materials may only appear in shops after a certain amount of progress with the game's main and side quests.
